Hi everyone!
We have an important update regarding Infinite Ferry (无限轮渡) by Fan Yunxiu (翻云袖).
Futile Devices Scans is discontinuing our English translation of Infinite Ferry, effective October 11, 2026. We will not be releasing further chapters.
After launching the project, we discovered that the same novel already has an ongoing English translation on Novel Updates under another English title, Infinite Cruise, by Mistmint Haven. We missed this existing listing during our initial checks because the English title was different. That was an oversight on our part, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion.
Rather than continue a parallel translation of a project another team is actively working on, we have decided to step aside. We encourage anyone interested in continuing the story to follow Infinite Cruise on Novel Updates and support its ongoing translation.
The seven chapters already published by Futile Devices will remain available as an archive on our Infinite Ferry project page, clearly marked as discontinued. No additional chapters are planned.
To everyone who started reading with us, thank you for your enthusiasm and understanding. We are sorry to bring this project to an end so soon, and we appreciate your support.
Our other ongoing projects are unaffected.
Thank you, as always, for reading and supporting Futile Devices. ❤️
