In the morning, sunlight spilled across Lan Xi’s body. He opened his eyes and, unsurprisingly, saw a neatly folded dress on the bedside table.
For the past several days, every outfit Fu Hui prepared for him had been like this.
The styles were even identical to the dresses Lan Xi had worn in the photographs he had taken before.
The succubus didn’t think Mr. Fu’s behavior was particularly perverted.
Instead, he smugly regarded it as proof that Fu Hui had been conquered.
Otherwise, why would he suddenly go crazy like this?
Lan Xi happily put the dress on and happily went downstairs.
It had been the same these past few days. Fu Hui ate breakfast with him, then left for work. Lan Xi wouldn’t see him at lunch, but in the afternoon they would meet in the study for another round of lessons.
Lan Xi’s hair had grown even longer.
But nobody who saw him now would mistake him for a girl anymore.
Fu Hui’s face showed no particular preference for seeing him in dresses, but one thing was obvious—
he was probably very satisfied with how convenient they were.
Whenever Lan Xi sat on his lap, Fu Hui could casually lift the skirt, then let his large hand wander beneath it, the heat of his palm seeming to devour Lan Xi’s skin inch by inch.
Lan Xi truly admired Heaven’s clothing merchants. How could they design so many different kinds of dresses? Some had wide skirts, some wrapped tightly around the hips and legs, some exposed the back, some exposed the chest…
They had truly opened the eyes of a succubus from Hell.
But today, Lan Xi quickly became unhappy.
Under intensive one-on-one teaching, his English had already rapidly progressed to around the second semester of first grade.
Yet Fu Hui’s progress in preparing for the main task remained stuck at fooling around instead of getting down to business.
With a smack, Lan Xi slapped away Fu Hui’s hand resting at his waist. He deliberately looked Fu Hui up and down before asking yet again, “Are you impotent?”
That kind of doubtful look could easily enrage a man.
But Fu Hui remained remarkably steady. “Don’t want to study anymore today?”
“No!”
“Don’t want afternoon tea either?”
“No!”
Fu Hui said, “All right.”
He opened the drawer to the right of the desk.
Lan Xi looked over curiously and discovered Fu Hui had bought something new.
It looked like some kind of tool, placed beside a black leather notebook and a gold fountain pen.
Obscene and serious at the same time.
Fu Hui took the item out, put on black gloves, and even followed a strict disinfection procedure.
Lan Xi watched, his throat gradually growing dry.
Fu Hui spared him a glance and said softly, “Let me see how much you can take.”
Don’t underestimate a demon, all right?
Lan Xi had barely pouted before Fu Hui put him down.
Fu Hui truly did proceed step by step, testing what Lan Xi’s body could tolerate.
But to Lan Xi, this was even more frustrating than everything they had done before combined.
Can he do it or not? Can he do it or not?!
Lan Xi kicked Fu Hui with the tip of his foot, his voice shifting slightly. “If you can’t do it, let me go!”
Fu Hui lowered his head until his face was close to Lan Xi’s. “And then what? Go find Wen Yue?”
Cheng Yiran had already secretly reported everything to Fu Hui several days earlier.
But only today did Fu Hui mention Wen Yue in front of Lan Xi.
From Fu Hui’s perspective, this sort of behavior should have been meaningless. Wen Yue carried no real weight at all.
Yet naturally, once some invisible point had been crossed, it was as though he could no longer tolerate it.
For Fu Hui, this was an extremely unfamiliar feeling.
His gaze roamed across Lan Xi’s face, almost as though rubbing over him.
Fu Hui thought that ever since meeting Lan Xi, he had been experiencing one unfamiliar feeling after another.
One more made little difference.
“Bro.” Cheng Yiran had returned from school. Seeing that it was getting late and assuming the two were seriously studying, he cautiously came over and knocked on the door.
“Are we eating dinner together?” Cheng Yiran asked.
Fu Hui still had Lan Xi pinned down. He answered, “Mm.”
The study was actually very well soundproofed. As long as nobody raised their voice, people outside generally couldn’t hear much.
Sure enough, Cheng Yiran knocked on the door twice more.
Fu Hui felt that almost all his boundaries had truly been dragged down and shattered.
Even while listening to someone right outside the door, he still gripped Lan Xi tightly without the slightest intention of letting go.
At this rate, it wouldn’t be surprising if he did something even more absurd someday…
Lan Xi suddenly let out a sound. “Mm.”
He raised his eyes and looked sideways at Fu Hui, refusing to miss a single expression as he deliberately said, “Want to see Wen Yue.”
Back at the Wen family home, Lan Xi had already developed a method: get close to one person, then deliberately say something about another.
Following the same logic again came effortlessly.
Fu Hui: “…”
He could tell Lan Xi was doing it deliberately.
Just as he had known what Lan Xi was trying to do when he first sent those photographs.
“But you can’t see him.” Fu Hui opened the other drawer and took out Lan Xi’s phone.
Lan Xi hadn’t been able to touch his phone for several days. He immediately reached for it.
Fu Hui didn’t stop him, merely watched him turn on the screen.
Wen Yue’s message was still sitting there from several days ago.
Fu Hui asked, “Do you want to ask him out again?”
Lan Xi gave a low nasal sound. “Mm.”
“Call him now?”
“Mm.”
Fu Hui himself hadn’t expected to be able to say this with a completely expressionless face. “All right. Then call him now and let him hear what we’re doing.”
Lan Xi was slightly shocked.
Fu Hui was just like that drawer he had opened earlier—obscene and serious at the same time.
Lan Xi still hadn’t decided whether to do it when his phone suddenly rang.
Speak of the devil… Caller: Wen Yue, clearly displayed.
The corner of Fu Hui’s mouth twitched as Lan Xi reacted instantly and answered.
“Lan Xi?” Wen Yue had clearly never expected the call to be answered. His voice sounded surprised.
Lan Xi buried his face against Fu Hui’s arm and quietly answered, “Mm.”
Fu Hui: “…” He should have known. There was simply nothing Lan Xi wouldn’t dare do.
“Are you all right?” Wen Yue’s voice tightened slightly. “You haven’t answered my messages for the past few days…”
Lan Xi stared sideways at Fu Hui, grinding his teeth. In a deliberately altered voice, he said, “Not good. Not good at all!”
On the other end, Wen Yue seemed to immediately stand from a chair or sofa. He even took a deep breath before asking, “Where are you right now?”
Lan Xi clearly remembered the name of the villa district. “Xinghong.”
Wen Yue cautiously asked, “Is Fu Hui in front of you?”
The study was too quiet. Fu Hui heard every word perfectly.
Fu Hui: “…”
The corner of his mouth moved. He simply turned on speakerphone for Lan Xi.
Wen Yue’s voice became even clearer. “What he’s doing is restricting your personal freedom.”
Fu Hui almost laughed.
As though Wen Yue himself had never done exactly that.
If the Song family’s invitation hadn’t been delivered to Wen Zixiong, Lan Xi would still have been confined inside the Wen family home.
Wen Yue continued in a low voice, “Lan Xi, you don’t have parents or relatives, and if you can’t come into contact with the outside world, this is too dangerous. Fu Hui can do whatever he wants to you…”
Fu Hui finally couldn’t hold back and spoke. “That’s right. He doesn’t even have identification. As far as this world is concerned, Lan Xi doesn’t exist at all. I can do whatever I want with him.”
Wen Yue’s voice stopped abruptly.
A terrifying silence traveled through the phone signal, leaving Wen Yue almost frozen like a statue.
Half a minute later, Wen Yue finally spoke again. “What did you do to Lan Xi?”
Wen Yue did his utmost to suppress his shock and anger.
Fu Hui suppressed his own distorted emotions.
Lan Xi, on the other hand, tasted delight in all of it. He listened to the two men talk with great interest.
And from Fu Hui’s constantly rising body temperature, he felt an even stronger thrill.
He could vaguely sense Fu Hui standing at the edge of losing control…
That’s wonderful!
Fu Hui’s voice remained extraordinarily calm. “You think I suddenly overheard your conversation and you’re afraid I’ll do something to Lan Xi out of anger?… You’re thinking too much.”
“From the moment your call came in until Lan Xi answered it, I was here the entire time.”
“I’m the one who gave him the phone.”
Wen Yue’s eyelid twitched violently. Even through the phone, he could feel the oppressive pressure of Fu Hui’s excessive calm.
People weren’t frightening only when they became angry.
On the contrary, the more urgently someone lost their temper, the easier it was to see their weakness.
Fu Hui didn’t get angry because there was no need for him to. He could effortlessly crush other people to achieve what he wanted.
Wen Yue’s grip on the phone tightened. “Then does Mr. Fu believe my accusation is true?”
If Fu Hui denied it, Wen Yue could seize the opportunity to demand that Fu Hui allow Lan Xi to leave the house normally.
But Fu Hui had already accepted having his own boundaries shattered.
He said lightly, “Mm. So what if it’s true?”
On the other end, Wen Yue’s expression became terrifyingly dark. He hung up, knowing there was no point in saying anything further.
But the call hadn’t been entirely useless. At least it made him even more determined to take Lan Xi away from Fu Hui.
Xinghong? The name sounded familiar. Hadn’t Wen Ming once picked Lan Xi up from there?
Wen Yue quickly opened an electronic map and began planning.
Fu Hui pushed Lan Xi’s phone away.
He seemed to sigh softly.
Before Lan Xi could understand what the sigh meant, Fu Hui suddenly lifted him and grabbed the suit jacket nearby, completely wrapping him inside it.
There was actually no need. The skirt was wide enough to ensure nothing unusual could possibly be exposed.
But Fu Hui still wrapped him tightly, opened the study door, and carried him out.
Cheng Yiran had already returned downstairs. Hearing footsteps faintly from above, he called, “Bro?”
But nobody answered.
Fu Hui carried Lan Xi into his bedroom and casually switched off all the lights.
In the darkness, Lan Xi felt his hands and feet tighten. Fu Hui had restrained him in an awkward position.
Then came soft rustling, like packaging being opened.
Fu Hui gave him full freedom to choose.
Lan Xi smelled faint strawberry, pineapple, banana…
Fu Hui asked him, “Which flavor?”
Lan Xi was slightly confused.
They had already reached this point. Why did he still have to choose a flavor?
Lan Xi smacked his lips and finally said, “Strawberry.”
Fu Hui answered in a low voice. “Mm.” His voice sounded deep and powerful.
Lan Xi wanted to keep stepping on his nerves and see whether Fu Hui would get angry. But Fu Hui abruptly withdrew the tool, and before Lan Xi had any time to prepare—
he finally received exactly what he had wanted all along.
His legs trembled as he abruptly tightened his grip around Fu Hui.
…
Lan Xi was tossed around like a dish in a wok.
In the end, which flavor he had chosen didn’t really matter. Pineapple, banana… even the flavorless ones all got used.
A demon’s stamina was excellent, but the impact also brought intense mental stimulation. Lan Xi felt as though his soul had been knocked straight out of his body and only drifted back into place a very, very long time later.
Lan Xi’s eyes snapped open.
The clock on the wall pointed to 10:31 in the morning.
He couldn’t tell whether this was the second day or the third. Happily, he rolled out of bed and initially wanted to simply walk out like that, but after hesitating, he still draped a bathrobe around himself and floated back to his own room like a ghost.
First thing—
Lan Xi took out his notebook, uncapped his pen, and happily wrote:
Did it. Felt great. Who should I pick next?
Underneath, he wrote Wen Yue’s name and drew a question mark beside it.
That meant undecided.
Fu Hui returned to the room carrying breakfast and found an empty bed.
The sheets had already been changed twice. A faint warmth and subtle fragrance still remained beneath the covers.
“Lan Xi?” Fu Hui’s first reaction was to wonder whether he had gone a little too far.
The gradual experimentation over the past several days hadn’t been useless. Fu Hui now understood Lan Xi’s body extremely well.
Which meant he could very easily push him until his body completely gave out.
Fu Hui set down the tray and turned to search another room. “Lan Xi…”
He pushed open the door and saw Lan Xi sitting with his back to him at the desk.
Lan Xi wasn’t wearing shoes. His toes rested on the dark green carpet, making the red marks around his ankles look even more obvious.
“Mm?” Hearing him, Lan Xi hurriedly turned around and quickly closed the notebook in front of him.
It was rare for Fu Hui to see him behave like this. His gaze casually swept across the notebook Lan Xi was covering.
Only after Lan Xi had put it away did Fu Hui approach.
Lan Xi looked up at him, still perfectly innocent. “Eating?”
Fu Hui: “Mm.”
“I’m very hungry.”
“I know. It’s all food you like.” After saying that, Fu Hui bent down and picked Lan Xi up. “Let’s change clothes first.”
Lan Xi noticed Fu Hui seemed to have become even gentler.
Almost as though he couldn’t bear to make Lan Xi walk.
Fu Hui personally changed his clothes for him too, no longer avoiding looking at his body.
Fu Hui didn’t prepare another dress today. This time, Lan Xi wore a proper shirt and trousers. Fu Hui even tied a small bow tie for him with extraordinary patience.
Oh… the changes in this seraph really are interesting.
Lan Xi lazily rested his head against Fu Hui’s shoulder.
Fu Hui tilted his head slightly and tugged Lan Xi’s collar higher, hiding as many of the marks underneath as possible.
Even so, it still couldn’t hide the faint scent emanating from Lan Xi’s body. The smell had appeared strangely but didn’t feel abrupt. It wasn’t perfume, nor was it the detergent scent from the bedding Lan Xi had slept in.
It was more like the natural fragrance fruit released after ripening.
Or like the scent a flower produced to attract bees for pollination.
Difficult to describe.
But remarkably strange.
It reminded Fu Hui of a popular description online: the pheromone effect—when you liked someone, you could smell a fragrance on them that you personally liked, while other people couldn’t smell it at all.
Like him?
Fu Hui slowly pulled back and looked squarely at Lan Xi’s face.
Lan Xi blinked lightly at him. “I’m going out with Luo Jin today.”
Fu Hui was especially agreeable now and nodded. “Mm. Have Cheng Yiran go with you?”
Lan Xi thought it made no difference and answered, “Mm-hm.”
Lan Xi chose to go downstairs for breakfast.
Cheng Yiran was there too. When Lan Xi suddenly appeared, Cheng Yiran was startled and thought he somehow looked incredibly beautiful first thing in the morning.
For an instant, it was like the impact of having his breathing wrapped inside a film of water.
Fu Hui sat beside Lan Xi and asked, “Do your hands hurt?”
Lan Xi tilted his head and looked at him.
Fu Hui now seemed like an upgraded version of the Fu Hui from the little Western-style house.
Lan Xi found that very interesting and said, “They hurt.”
So Fu Hui picked up the bowl and fed him himself.
Lan Xi stared at Fu Hui’s face, practically bursting with excitement.
He really did upgrade!
Cheng Yiran wasn’t stupid. He vaguely sensed something from the sticky, intimate atmosphere. His face flushed as he lowered his head, afraid to look too closely at the excessively beautiful Lan Xi or his brother’s powerful arms.
It made him think of things that weren’t particularly wholesome.
For once, Lan Xi wasn’t especially interested in food.
He had already obtained ten thousand points of satisfaction and happiness somewhere else. Now he wanted to find another ten thousand points of the same satisfaction and happiness.
He said, “I’m full.”
Then he looked up at Cheng Yiran. “Let’s go.”
“Go?” Cheng Yiran froze.
“Mm-hm. We’re going out to have fun!”
Cheng Yiran snapped out of his embarrassment and looked pleasantly surprised. “Really?”
He still hadn’t properly explored Jing City.
“Go ahead,” Fu Hui said, making the decision final.
And so the two left.
Once they were in the car, Lan Xi asked, “Do you know anywhere fun?”
Cheng Yiran wasn’t particularly familiar with Jing City either. After thinking for a long time, he said, “An amusement park?”
Lan Xi answered enthusiastically, “Mm-hm,” then almost immediately took out his phone and sent a voice message.
“Meet me at the amusement park!”
Cheng Yiran slowly, stiffly turned his neck. “You… who were you talking to?”
