DL – Chapter 76: Sigh. A-Li and I really aren’t suited to abstinence. From now on, things should just proceed naturally.

Wenren Li still looked somewhat dazed after hearing this, and Chen Yixin even glared at him in slight disdain while impatiently kissing him. He was not intentionally trying to take advantage of Wenren Li—it was simply that this blockhead would never reveal the mark belonging solely to him unless he became aroused. Chen Yixin had already personally gone this far to stir his emotions, yet Wenren Li still remained dazed and slow to react. Of course Chen Yixin was dissatisfied.

“What are you staring at? Hold me and keep kissing…” Didn’t he realize Chen Yixin was already tired from doing all the kissing himself?

“Mm… alright.” Wenren Li nodded in agreement. Perhaps this was also one of Chen Yixin’s ways of comforting him. In that case, he would gladly accept it.

Having completely misunderstood Chen Yixin’s true purpose in stripping his clothes, Wenren Li interpreted things this way. Then he wrapped both arms around Chen Yixin’s waist and rolled with him deeper into the bed. His kisses landed upon Chen Yixin’s forehead, carrying the taste of deepening desire, slowly moving downward. A faint layer of silver spiritual power covered Wenren Li’s palm. Everywhere his hand gently brushed, Chen Yixin’s blue robes dissolved like flowing water, revealing pale jade-white skin that was unbearably enticing.

Chen Yixin’s breathing quickened. The words he had originally intended to tell Wenren Li now became impossible to say. Whether Wenren Li had become aroused or not, Chen Yixin did not know. But he himself had already become aroused beyond stopping. He raised his arms around Wenren Li’s waist and hugged him tightly.

“A-Li, don’t think about anything else. Just think about me.”

Whenever Chen Yixin thought of Wenren Li, he could not help feeling happy, nor stop his heart from softening. Surely Wenren Li thinking about him would make him happy too.

“I am thinking about you…” Wenren Li pressed lightly against Chen Yixin’s cheek and whispered softly beside his ear. The unconscious furrow between his brows gradually smoothed away. The corners of his lips curved upward. Just as Chen Yixin had imagined, once Wenren Li focused on thinking about Chen Yixin, every other troubling thought drifted far away.

“I’m thinking about you too.” Chen Yixin shifted slightly, then told him with certainty. With Wenren Li’s body pressed so solidly against him, Chen Yixin could no longer think about anything else. Most likely, he had also completely forgotten his earlier resolution to abstain for a while.

Wenren Li propped himself up slightly, their gazes meeting before he lowered his head and kissed Chen Yixin’s lips. They kissed and lingered together, spreading the flames already burning through every inch of their bodies. Outside the great tent, the mutated phoenix flowers bloomed even more brilliantly.

Yet Chen Yixin’s condition during intimacy with Wenren Li was no better than before. His divine power still fluctuated so unpredictably that he could not grasp any pattern to it. Amidst his passion, faint traces of pain remained, bringing him both discomfort and an even deeper intensity than before.

Wenren Li’s throat bobbed. The muscles of his body stiffened slightly. He too was struggling to restrain his desire. He wanted to stop. He wanted Chen Yixin to rest first. But the moment Chen Yixin cast him a reproachful look, the already surging desire instantly overwhelmed his reason. By the time Wenren Li regained his senses, they had already fallen once more into another endless round of intimacy and collision.

“Aiya… my waist aches, my legs ache too…” Chen Yixin lay sprawled across the woven clouds, muttering complaints. Right now, however, he did not even wish to move a finger. He no longer even knew how long he and Wenren Li had spent tangled together within this tent. “I’m practically being drained dry by A-Li…”

Hearing this, Wenren Li reached over and gathered Chen Yixin back into his arms from the woven clouds. Without using spiritual power, he simply massaged Chen Yixin’s waist and legs by hand. “I’m sorry. For some reason, I haven’t been able to control myself very well.”

After a moment’s thought, he attempted once more to use spiritual power to ease Chen Yixin’s discomfort—only for Chen Yixin’s eyes to widen instantly as he rolled straight back into the woven cloud cocoon. “I really can’t squeeze out anything more. A-Li, stop tormenting me.”

The moment Chen Yixin touched Wenren Li’s spiritual power, his legs went weak. If Wenren Li continued like this, Chen Yixin feared he truly would not be able to leave the tent today.

Wenren Li withdrew his hand somewhat innocently. His gaze lifted again, yet he still reached over and drew Chen Yixin back into his embrace. Wrapped up in the woven clouds like that, Chen Yixin looked uncomfortable to him.

Chen Yixin glanced sideways at the woven clouds. In the end, he obediently leaned against Wenren Li without moving. His hand slowly slid along Wenren Li’s back. The silver tree mark had not disappeared.

“My words alone might not be convincing enough. But this silver tree mark is unique. I can guarantee that puppet absolutely could not possess it.” Pausing briefly, Chen Yixin’s expression darkened with concern. “Right now, I’m actually more worried about Windvoid Realm…”

Within the red feather Qingruo had left him remained the imprint of Windvoid Realm. That should be the last surviving remnants of their old allies in the Upper Realm—and also the remnants Nangong and Dongfang wished to eradicate. They would very likely use that puppet to scheme against them somehow.

“Once matters here are settled, A-Li should accompany me to Windvoid Realm.” Originally, returning temporarily to the Upper Realm should have been impossible for them. But now that the puppet had left behind a small Divine Ruins secret realm in their hands, it was enough to make another round trip possible.

“Mm.” Wenren Li answered softly. Resting his chin upon Chen Yixin’s shoulder, he gently patted his back. “A-Rong doesn’t need to worry. I’ve already figured things out.”

Chen Yixin rubbed lightly against him after hearing those words. He knew it could not have been easy. For Wenren Li—someone burdened by such a heavy past—it was even harder. And Chen Yixin himself had practically sacrificed his beauty to help Wenren Li work through it. That was not easy either.

Before long, Chen Yixin fell asleep within Wenren Li’s arms. To prevent Wenren Li from possibly harassing him further, he transformed back into his true form before sleeping—a breathtakingly beautiful blue-feathered phoenix. Curled upon Wenren Li’s chest, he slept peacefully.

Wenren Li put on his robes and erected a silver barrier around the sleeping phoenix. Holding Chen Yixin like that, he carried him into the conference tent. This time, the two of them had spent even longer indulging themselves inside the tent than before—a full ten days.

By now, news of Spirit Void Sect’s destruction had already spread throughout both the Immortal and Demon paths. Even the wandering cultivators in the barren Western Domain likely knew of it already. During the ten days Chen Yixin and Wenren Li remained inside the tent, the Ten Great Demon Generals recovered from their injuries and launched further attacks.

However, this time the Immortal Dao Alliance had become wary. With formations, barriers, and various special methods added to their defenses, Ze Fang and the others still had not managed to capture Boundless Sect according to plan.

When Wenren Li carried Chen Yixin into the conference tent, only Qiu Yi, An Cheng, and the injured Azure Roc were present. Everyone else remained at the front lines attacking Boundless Sect.

“What’s the situation?” Wenren Li asked.

“There is a demonic corpse within Boundless Sect whose cultivation exceeds Soul Transformation.” Azure Roc stepped forward as he spoke, waving a hand to recreate the demonic corpse’s appearance. “Even joining forces, we were unable to defeat it.”

“A mid-stage Tribulation Crossing demonic corpse. No wonder you couldn’t defeat it.” In truth, had it not been for the pills refined by Qiu Yi, the Ten Great Demon Generals likely would already have suffered casualties before he and Chen Yixin emerged.

“Call them back first.” After instructing An Cheng, Wenren Li continued staring thoughtfully at the demonic corpse.

A moment later, he looked toward Azure Roc. “You should go recover at Qiu Yi’s Medicine Pavilion. We’ll discuss the rest after the others return.”

“Yes.” Azure Roc and Qiu Yi both acknowledged the order before leaving.

Wenren Li continued meditating within the tent while holding Chen Yixin. An Cheng periodically delivered jade slips containing battle reports and information from both the front and rear lines.

Two hours later, the remaining nine Demon Generals who had surrounded Boundless Sect all returned to camp.

Wenren Li did not summon them immediately. Instead, he ordered them all to first recover fully at Qiu Yi’s Medicine Pavilion and restore themselves to peak condition before anything else. That process would require far more than a few hours—at minimum three to five days.

After night fully descended, Wenren Li carried Chen Yixin back to their resting tent and began cultivating once more.

Yet less than half an hour after closing his eyes, he opened them again. The phoenix sleeping in his arms transformed directly into a naked man, utterly oblivious as he rubbed against Wenren Li lazily.

“A-Li… what time is it?”

“It’s alright. Go back to sleep. I’m here.” Wenren Li gently stroked Chen Yixin’s hair while retrieving a robe from his storage space and draping it over him. His self-control toward Chen Yixin was no longer what it once had been. His body had become far more honest than his heart.

Chen Yixin continued wriggling about, yet found Wenren Li’s embrace stiff enough to make him slightly uncomfortable. Still, he truly was exhausted. Since Wenren Li said it was fine, he simply continued sleeping. He slept for a full three days before finally waking again.

And throughout those three days, he had remained within Wenren Li’s arms while Wenren Li cultivated continuously.

“Come. Let’s go to the Medicine Pavilion too.” Wenren Li kissed Chen Yixin’s lips before half-carrying him upright.

Though Chen Yixin did not understand why, he still nodded. Tilting sideways, he also kissed Wenren Li’s lips before even licking them slightly afterward, as though savoring the taste. Now that his body had recovered, he had already forgotten how pitifully he had begged beneath Wenren Li earlier.

“Sigh. A-Li and I really aren’t suited to abstinence. From now on, things should just proceed naturally.” As Chen Yixin spoke, he took the initiative to hold Wenren Li’s hand and pulled him outside. After those wild ten days, he felt that remaining beside Wenren Li while trying to restrain himself was both impossible and impractical. First and foremost, enduring it himself was already extremely difficult.

Hearing this, Wenren Li could not help smiling. Interlocking their fingers, he nodded. “It truly doesn’t suit us.”

By the time they arrived at the Medicine Pavilion, all Ten Great Demon Generals—including Azure Roc, Ze Fang, and Black Feather—had gathered there. After Chen Yixin and Wenren Li took their seats above, Wenren Li gestured for the others to sit as well.

None of the generals yet understood why Wenren Li had insisted Qiu Yi restore their bodies to peak condition.

Wenren Li raised the hand not holding Chen Yixin’s. A silver wheel of light appeared within his palm. Looking toward the Ten Great Demon Generals, he spoke.

“You each have only one opportunity… a chance to break through into Tribulation Crossing.”

Within Taixuan’s cultivation world, countless Soul Transformation cultivators remained trapped at late-stage Soul Transformation, unable to advance. Only by entering the wheel of light refined by Wenren Li could they escape the suppression of Taixuan’s prison-like world. But they had only one chance. Whether they succeeded would depend entirely upon themselves.

The instant Wenren Li spoke, the already quiet hall suddenly erupted into commotion—only to fall immediately back into deathly silence.

Ze Fang, Black Feather, and the others almost felt as though they had misheard. Yet Wenren Li would never joke with them, much less about something like this.

“Do you require time to steady your emotions?” Wenren Li frowned slightly. Seeing how emotional they currently were, he feared they might waste the opportunity he was offering.

“This subordinate does not need it. I will definitely succeed!” Ze Fang’s voice trembled as he rose before dropping to both knees before Wenren Li and Chen Yixin, offering them his complete loyalty.

Wenren Li nodded faintly. A silver thread flew from the wheel of light, and Ze Fang instantly vanished from the Medicine Pavilion hall.

One after another, those who managed to steady themselves stepped forward just as Ze Fang had done, kneeling in loyalty before being guided by Wenren Li into the wheel of light. Their emotions might still not be fully calm, but they had already prepared for this moment long ago. What they had lacked was simply this single opportunity.

Qiu Yi, who had been busy these past days, finally found time to head toward the rear courtyard to pay respects at the divine wells. He was no longer present.

Thus only Chen Yixin and Wenren Li remained within the Medicine Pavilion.

Chen Yixin stared curiously at the wheel of light and even reached out to touch it.

Wenren Li glanced at him. The wheel of light immediately fell into Chen Yixin’s arms, revealing its original appearance. It was a silver sapling roughly half the height of a person, with three branches and sparse leaves.

However, the flower bud Chen Yixin had taken advantage of so many times before was nowhere to be seen.

Chen Yixin carefully touched the little tree all over before lifting his eyes toward Wenren Li.

“Where did you hide the flower bud?”

Hearing this, Wenren Li simply chose not to answer. Wrapping an arm around Chen Yixin’s waist, he lifted him directly onto his lap.

“If A-Rong misses it, we can return to the tent right now.”
