HC – Chapter 51: So This Works Too?! Part I

Ning Xuan felt his vision spinning. Gritting his teeth and shutting his eyes, he looked as if he were ready to struggle to the bitter end.

Feng Xuanyi watched with amusement as the person beneath him writhed aimlessly without any real coordination. Though forcing things had its own appeal, he preferred mutual willingness. Still, yielding to a mere servant was not his style. Lowering his head abruptly, he bit down hard on Ning Xuan’s neck as punishment. Hearing the sharp cry of pain, the frustration in his chest eased slightly.

“Be good. I won’t hurt you,” Feng Xuanyi said truthfully—he had already given up the idea of going all the way.

But given everything that had happened before, combined with his current lack of sincerity, Ning Xuan found it impossible to believe him. He remained wary, covering the spot that had just been bitten, which felt as though a piece of flesh had nearly been torn off. He glared resentfully at Feng Xuanyi, silently protesting that he didn’t believe a word.

“If you keep that expression, I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to hold back,” Feng Xuanyi said with a charming smile, sounding innocent—but enough to set off alarm bells in Ning Xuan’s mind. Though angry and wronged, he could only turn his face away, unwilling to engage.

“Since I can promise not to go all the way, fairness dictates that you should take responsibility for what you caused. If you start something, you should finish it, shouldn’t you?” Feng Xuanyi said as if it were perfectly logical. Seeing Ning Xuan’s confused, half-understanding expression, he gave a hint—thrusting his hips slightly forward.

The instant that heat pressed against the inside of his thigh through the fabric, Ning Xuan felt a sharp jolt. He cursed himself inwardly, but at the same time understood Feng Xuanyi’s meaning. Whether from anger or embarrassment, his already flushed face deepened in color, his body curling instinctively like a cooked shrimp.

Ning Xuan felt like crying. He was completely innocent—he had just been eating a meal. Granted, it was surprising to be dining with a prince, but that wasn’t the point. The point was the luxurious food and treatment. Yet he had eaten cautiously the entire time because of that inexplicable gaze beside him. Afterward, it was clearly Feng Xuanyi who had started all this, driven by his own impulses. Ning Xuan himself hadn’t done or said anything. When he saw the urgency, he had even kindly offered to fetch someone else to help—but instead, Feng Xuanyi pinned him down.

In the end, wasn’t he the innocent victim? He had only come here to eat. So how could Feng Xuanyi twist things around so confidently, making him the one responsible? Then who was going to take responsibility for him?

As if reading Ning Xuan’s thoughts, Feng Xuanyi laughed wickedly. “I’ll take responsibility for you.”

Startled, Ning Xuan shrank back instinctively.

Feng Xuanyi, already pushed to the edge, had no patience left to wait. His body demanded release. If not for restraining himself earlier, he would have acted long ago. Only this stubborn little “cat” dared to challenge him like this, forcing him to endure for so long.

He no longer hesitated. With one motion, he flipped Ning Xuan over and pressed him face-down onto the couch.

“Hey!” Ning Xuan exclaimed. The sudden roughness caught him off guard. He fell onto the couch, dizzy despite the soft cushions. Ignoring the spinning in his vision, he tried to push himself up, only to be pressed down again.

“You said you wouldn’t touch me! How can a prince go back on his word?!” Ning Xuan protested weakly, his face half-buried in the pillow, clinging to a boundary he could barely defend.

“When did I ever say I wouldn’t touch you?” Feng Xuanyi replied with a faint smile. Yet the hoarseness in his voice and his uneven breathing revealed how close he was to losing control.

“Behave.” A light slap landed on Ning Xuan’s hip. The force was controlled, but it made Ning Xuan bite his lip, his eyes misting with grievance. He had never even been treated like this by his own parents—yet now a stranger was doing so.

“I only said I wouldn’t go all the way—and that’s only if you behave,” Feng Xuanyi added. Looking at the stubborn figure beneath him, eyes glistening yet refusing to let tears fall, he felt a fleeting trace of unfamiliar softness.

Leaning down, he gently kissed the corner of Ning Xuan’s eye, even as his hands continued without pause.

Holding him in place, he pressed his legs together and knelt on either side, trapping his movements. One hand restrained him while the other quickly loosened clothing, freeing what had been tightly bound. Then, gripping Ning Xuan’s thighs, he pressed them together and moved forward, pressing himself against the space between them.

“Ah!” Ning Xuan cried out in shock. The unexpected contact, the intense heat and pressure, made him shudder. The sensitive inner thighs felt overwhelmed by an unfamiliar sensation.

Feng Xuanyi, on the other hand, let out a satisfied sigh.

Ning Xuan felt stifled. Even if it hadn’t gone all the way, why did it still feel like he was the one at a loss?
