CD – Extra 2 – Chapter 17: The Story of Xiao Lu

When Xie Jia Hua came home in the middle of the night and found him lying blood-soaked on his bed, “playing dead,” chaos naturally ensued. Lu Guang Ming was so groggy he had no energy to deal with Xie Jia Hua. He simply buried his head and slept, not waking until around eleven or twelve the next day. When he did, he discovered he had been wrapped tightly in blankets. He was drenched in sweat, hot and dizzy.

Touching his forehead, he felt he had a fever. After spending a night soaking in the sea, who wouldn’t?

Lightheaded and unsteady, he staggered to the bathroom to take a piss. When he crawled back into bed, he noticed a glass of water and a box of fever medicine on the bedside table. After taking the medicine and burrowing back under the blankets, he thought blissfully, Big Sweet Potato really is sweet. Then he closed his eyes and fell asleep again.

He slept hazily until evening, when hunger woke him. Wrapped in a blanket, he rummaged through Xie Jia Hua’s apartment. Other than instant noodles, he found nothing to eat—but he did discover something completely unexpected. Delighted, he sat on the sofa chewing on a block of dry noodles and casually turned on the television.

The news was reporting his disappearance. The day before, he had specifically borrowed a vehicle from the ICAC under the pretense of carrying out an assignment. Early that morning, the vehicle had been discovered on a remote beach. A note suspected to be his suicide letter had been found on the seat. His superior, Chief Xu, was being interviewed outside ICAC headquarters and stated that the matter was still under investigation and that it was inconvenient to disclose further details.

On screen, grief was difficult to hide from Chief Xu’s face. He clearly did not believe Lu Guang Ming had committed suicide and looked every bit the determined superior prepared to uncover the truth and seek justice for him. Lu Guang Ming figured that five minutes after entering his office, Chief Xu would discover the “playing dead leave request” he had left behind. Hopefully that bastard A’San would come through this time and find real evidence. Otherwise, when Lu Guang Ming returned, the enraged Chief Xu would probably beat him to death with a folder.

Halfway through crunching his noodles, the front door creaked open. Xie Jia Hua had returned. Lu Guang Ming’s heart leapt with joy. Clutching the noodle block, he kept his eyes glued to the television.

Come worry about me. Come on.

As if hearing his thoughts, Xie Jia Hua walked over and pressed a hand to his forehead to check his temperature.

“Did you take your medicine?”

Outwardly indifferent, inwardly delighted, Lu Guang Ming answered, “Mm.”

“Why didn’t you order takeout?”

“I didn’t bring any money.”

“What happened last night? Why are you hiding here instead of going home?”

“None of your business.”

“…”

Xie Jia Hua started rolling up his sleeves.

Lu Guang Ming immediately darted behind a sofa cushion with his noodle block. “Hey, I’ve got a fever. Have some conscience. You’re not allowed to hit sick people.”

“Once your fever’s gone, get the hell out!” Xie Jia Hua barked with impressive authority.

Lu Guang Ming had no idea where the inspiration came from, nor why he suddenly felt so confident. Struggling to swallow the crumbs in his mouth, he boldly copied He Chu San’s wide-eyed innocent look and blinked sweetly. “Brother Jia Hua, I’m so hungry. Could you order takeout? I want roast goose.”

“…”

The result was still a spanking on the sofa.

“Help! Police brutality!”

After the spanking, he still got his roast goose.

The two sat side by side on the sofa eating dinner. Lu Guang Ming remained wrapped in his blanket, his backside burning—not from embarrassment but literally burning. One arm stuck out of the blanket as he happily stuffed roast goose into his mouth.

“Are you going to eat or not?” Xie Jia Hua finally snapped. “Why do you keep grinning? Did the fever fry your brain?”

Lu Guang Ming set down his chopsticks and pulled a lunch box out from under the coffee table. He had found it earlier while searching for noodles. It was a cheap plastic lunch box, obviously used for years, its color nearly worn away, but scrubbed spotlessly clean.

Why hadn’t he noticed this when he stayed here before? He grinned. “What’s this, Inspector Xie? Why are you keeping this?”

Inspector Xie’s face turned a little green, but he still maintained an upright expression. “I meant to return it to you. I forgot.”

“Was the milk scrambled egg from that place good?”

“Too salty.”

Lu Guang Ming immediately forgot about eating. Throwing aside the blanket, he lunged onto Xie Jia Hua. Wrapped together in the blanket, they rolled into what looked like a giant baguette.

“What the hell are you doing?!” Xie Jia Hua’s head and arms were sticking out of the blanket, chopsticks still in hand.

“If you eat breakfast bought by your hookup, you’re supposed to repay your hookup.”

“Who the hell is your hookup?!”

“Come on, Inspector. Have a little fun. Share the joy with the people. It’s been so long since you’ve had sex—aren’t you suffering? At worst, I’ll let you win again today. You can pay me back later.”

Xie Jia Hua continued struggling with the blanket, his face still green. “Get off me!”

Lu Guang Ming shrank his head back, ducked under the blanket, and took his big gun in his mouth.

The roast goose ended up on the floor. The coffee table was a complete mess. One corner of the blanket hung to the ground, stained with sauce. Breathing heavily, Xie Jia Hua frowned at the stain and thought, This little bastard. I’m making him wash the sheets later. He’s got nothing better to do. I haven’t even had time to eat a proper meal all day.

While thinking this, he suddenly threw his head back with a sharp gasp. Lu Guang Ming had been teasing him. After days of enforced abstinence, heat surged through his body like wildfire. Throwing off the blanket, he grabbed Lu Guang Ming and pinned him down on the sofa.

Lu Guang Ming was still grinning mischievously and fooling around. His pants were pulled down, barely reaching his ankles before Xie Jia Hua lost patience.

“Fuck!” Lu Guang Ming cried out miserably. His legs tightened around Xie Jia Hua’s waist as his hands clawed at the man’s shoulders and back. “Are you trying to murder someone, Inspector Xie?! Where’s the condom?!”

“I don’t have that in my house!”

“What about the lotion from last time? Hurry up, Brother Jia Hua, it hurts.”

The words Brother Jia Hua gave him goosebumps. Embarrassed and annoyed, he growled, “Shut up.”

They fumbled for lotion. Lu Guang Ming stared at the broad chest visible beneath Xie Jia Hua’s partially open shirt and felt his heart race. Unable to resist, Xie Jia Hua flicked him lightly.

“Why are you like this?!”

Lu Guang Ming shivered dramatically and wrapped his arms around Xie Jia Hua’s neck. “Because I want you, Brother Jia Hua.”

“Who wants who?” Xie Jia Hua asked darkly.

“Either way is fine. Just hurry up…”

The lotion was tossed aside. Xie Jia Hua pinned him down and showed exactly why he had won the police department’s annual combat championships. Within minutes, Lu Guang Ming was already trembling and crying out.

“That spot—right there—that spot,” he whimpered softly, sounding as if he were about to cry. “I’m dying. Why is it so fast? I’m dying…”

“Stop it.” Xie Jia Hua smacked him lightly.

“Don’t hit me. It hurts.” Lu Guang Ming looked pitiful. “Touch me. Hurry.”

With a dark expression, Xie Jia Hua obliged. Lu Guang Ming immediately let out a satisfied sound and leaned eagerly into him. Meanwhile, he clung tightly around Xie Jia Hua, who felt his composure slipping further and further.

When Lu Guang Ming buried his face against his shoulder and made muffled noises, Xie Jia Hua thought sourly that he felt less like a person and more like some kind of deluxe massage machine.

Then Lu Guang Ming bit his shoulder.

The sharp sting snapped him back to reality.

Turning them around, Xie Jia Hua sat down while pulling Lu Guang Ming onto his lap. Lu Guang Ming steadied himself against the sofa, breathing hard. The oversized shirt hanging from his shoulders belonged to Xie Jia Hua. It draped loosely over him, while his long pale legs were completely exposed. Faint old scars could be seen near his thighs, lending him a strangely vulnerable appearance.

Unable to resist, Xie Jia Hua gripped his waist more tightly.

“Ah—! Ah! Ah!”

The position left Lu Guang Ming shaking. He threw back his head and cried out. It was not entirely from discomfort. The sounds only grew more drawn out and shameless.

Xie Jia Hua smacked him twice. “Keep it down. The neighbors will hear.”

“Let them hear,” Lu Guang Ming gasped. “What’s wrong with two adults having sex? Ah… I’m done for… I’m done for… you’re huge…”

Xie Jia Hua’s face grew hot from all the shameless teasing. Unable to help himself, he reached out and covered Lu Guang Ming’s mouth. Lu Guang Ming stuck out his tongue and licked his palm. As though he had touched poison, Xie Jia Hua immediately snatched his hand away. Panting, Lu Guang Ming chased after him, first kissing his shoulder, then his forehead. His lips were soft and slightly cool, like the tentative kisses of a kitten meeting someone for the first time.

A strange itch stirred in Xie Jia Hua’s heart. He shook his head and avoided him, then, before Lu Guang Ming could cling to him again, shoved him back onto the sofa and drove into him with ruthless force. Lu Guang Ming was gasping so hard he could barely catch his breath. He no longer had the energy to keep teasing him. Reaching down to touch himself, he was immediately caught by Xie Jia Hua, who pinned both his wrists above his head. In an instant, Lu Guang Ming was pushed to the edge of climax, only for Xie Jia Hua to maliciously deny him release.

“Ah—let—ah—let me go, I’m going to die… ah… let me go…”

“Stop acting up!”

“I’m going to die from it, let me go…”

You think I’m going to let you enjoy yourself that easily? Looking at Lu Guang Ming’s flushed face, Xie Jia Hua found himself seized by a particularly nasty impulse. He grabbed a plastic takeout bag, twisted it into a strip, and tied it around him. Lu Guang Ming’s eyes widened as he struggled to get up, only to be driven back down by a hard thrust that made him cry out.

“Inspector… are you some kind of sadist…?” he wailed pitifully.

Xie Jia Hua ignored him completely.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

“I’m going to die, ahhh, I’m really going to die…” Lu Guang Ming cried openly.

“Still want to fool around?” Xie Jia Hua asked.

“No more… sob… no more…”

“Last night, you kept me up all night. Today I was so busy I didn’t even have time to eat. And now you’re provoking me again? Tell me yourself—aren’t you asking for it?”

“Yes, yes… it feels too good… ah! Ah! No, ahh… no, no, I was wrong, I was wrong… you’re going to split me open…”

“Stop acting up!”

“I’m not… sob… you really are going to split me open…”

Lu Guang Ming was crying so hard his face was a mess. Yet Xie Jia Hua showed no signs of stopping, as though he would never let him go until he was utterly exhausted. Every cell in Lu Guang Ming’s body screamed for release. The burning heat buried inside him brushed over every sensitive spot before driving deeper each time. Dull pain mixed with overwhelming pleasure. It felt as though he had been swallowed by blazing sunlight, his entire body scorching with unbearable heat.

“Mm… mm…” Completely out of his mind, he cried as he wrapped his arms around Xie Jia Hua’s neck and shamelessly began to plead. “Kiss me… mm… I’m going to die… kiss me…”

Xie Jia Hua turned his head away, refusing him. Lu Guang Ming chased after his chin stubbornly, demanding a kiss.

“Even hookups kiss… mm… just one kiss…”

At last he managed to catch Xie Jia Hua’s lips, stealing a brief kiss filled with warmth and breath. The force from deep inside him soon drove his head back again, and he clutched the sofa desperately.

I’m going to die. I’m really going to die.

A white light seemed to appear before his eyes.

Within that white light, he was kissed again. Their lips tangled together as the restraint was finally removed. His cries disappeared into the other man’s mouth. Sobbing softly, he finally climaxed, soaking both himself and the shirt Xie Jia Hua was wearing. The burning heat withdrew from inside him, and Xie Jia Hua reached his own release moments later.

Lu Guang Ming lay sprawled on the sofa, unable to recover for a long time. Barely twenty minutes had passed, yet it felt as though an entire century had gone by. His lower body was bare, traces of their encounter lingering between his legs. Several bright red handprints marked his backside. He was swollen, disheveled, and filthy. Even his lips had been bitten swollen by Xie Jia Hua.

Meanwhile, Xie Jia Hua had done little more than unzip his trousers. He had not even taken off his suit jacket. Calmly pulling his zipper back up, he wiped the sweat from his forehead with a tissue, picked up his bowl, and resumed eating the two surviving dishes on the coffee table.

Lu Guang Ming weakly kicked his legs and cried out, “Are you even human? You’re still eating?!”

“I haven’t eaten all day. Mind your own business. Rest for five minutes, then go wash the blanket. There’s a dryer on the balcony.”

“I don’t want to!”

“Then you won’t have a blanket tonight.”

“I’m sharing yours!”

“Impossible. Get lost.”

In the end, they still slept under the same blanket that night. Lu Guang Ming had completely seen through Xie Jia Hua’s tough exterior and soft heart. He kept clinging to him and feeling around, determined to court death.

“Are you going to let me sleep or not?!” Xie Jia Hua roared. “You slept all day. I didn’t!”

“But you still owe me three times…”

“I don’t owe you a damn thing! If you don’t go to sleep, I’m throwing you outside!”

“Don’t be angry, Brother Jia Hua. Getting angry makes you age faster. At worst, I’ll get up early tomorrow and buy you milk scrambled eggs.”

“Don’t call me Brother Jia Hua!”

“Handsome Brother, I’ll sing ‘Handsome Young Man’ for you…”

“Get lost—!”

Lu Guang Ming ducked under the blanket, still clinging to him.

Lu didn’t “cling” to Xie. Lu “took Xie’s ‘gun’ in his mouth.”
