CD – Chapter 60: A Day of Great Joy

He Chu San watched him nervously. His Brother Liu Yi had clearly dressed with great care today, wearing a brand-new wine-red suit and a black shirt, the collar button fastened meticulously. The smooth, exposed neck made He Chu San unable to stop himself from swallowing hard.

Seeing him stare like this, Xia Liu Yi thought his clothes had become wrinkled during the earlier scuffle, so he looked down to straighten them and continued to smile at him.

“Go ahead.”

The other party’s unexpectedly formal and serious demeanor made He Chu San feel stage fright instead. He hurriedly looked down to straighten himself up—he was wearing a white suit today with a black bowtie. Broad-shouldered and long-legged, his posture was quite dashing, and he felt that he looked like a good match standing next to Xia Liu Yi. Reaching into his pants pocket, he touched the small box that had already been warmed by his body heat. Overly nervous, he began to stutter.

“W-wait, wait a second, I remember there, there’s still… ah!”

He slapped his forehead; he had been beaten silly by Inspector Wu earlier and had only just remembered! He quickly yanked a large burlap sack he had hidden in the corner of the storage room earlier. Just as he was about to reach inside, he noticed Xia Liu Yi tilting his head and staring at him.

“Turn around first,” He Chu San said. “I’ll call you when I’m ready.”

Xia Liu Yi smiled and turned around.

He Chu San scrambled in a panic to scoop out the rose petals from the burlap sack, crouching on the ground to arrange them. He felt a heart shape was too tacky, and scattering them all over the floor felt too messy. After messing with them back and forth, he wrinkled many of the petals, finally stacking them into a crumpled heart. He also moved several broken chairs that were strewn about the room into the corner, but moving them to the left didn’t look aesthetic, and moving them to the right took up too much space. There were also many empty wine bottles and discarded packaging boxes on the floor. He piled them into a corner in a jumble, but they looked too eyesore, so he had to dump out all the little flower wreaths and bouquets from the burlap sack and stuff the wine bottles and trash inside instead. However, by doing this, there were now even more wreaths and bouquets on the floor, and how to arrange them nicely became another problem…

He was capable of managing a wedding banquet for a hundred unexpected guests perfectly, but his emotional and IQ levels plummeted to negative values while tending to this small room, and he spent nearly ten minutes in a flustered panic behind the scenes. Xia Liu Yi suddenly made a sound, “Are you ready?”

“D-don’t turn around yet!”

While hurrying to finish his work, He Chu San stuttered in his nagging, “I, I wanted to set this up earlier, but if I did it too early, others would have discovered it. Who knew so many people would come today? These chairs and bottles weren’t originally in this room; I told the manager to empty this room, but they just threw their trash in here anyway…”

“You little bastard, what on earth are you doing?”

“Don’t turn around!”

Having already guessed what he was going to do, Xia Liu Yi couldn’t help but chuckle continuously. Hearing the rustling sound behind him die down, he asked again, “Are you ready now?”

“Not yet, w-wait, just a second.” He Chu San looked at his watch nervously. It was almost seven o’clock; the wedding banquet was about to formally begin. The emcee would go on stage, and the Wedding March should be playing right about now.

“Da-da-da-dum! Da-da-da-dum! Da-da-da-da-dum, Da-da-da-dum…”

“Fellow neighbors, dear friends, welcome everyone to the wedding of Mr. He Bing Xian and Ms. Wu Qian Li…”

“Okay, you can turn around now,” He Chu San said.

Xia Liu Yi turned around, smiling. Under the background music of the “Wedding March,” in the center of the tidy room, sat a large heart made of red roses adorned with white bouquets. Beside the red heart, He Chu San was kneeling on one knee, dressed in elegant white, handsome and moving, his expression nervous and shy. His slightly trembling hands held a small box. A platinum ring with a simple and generous design, set with a small diamond on the band, glowed brilliantly.

With a serious expression, and still unable to stop stuttering, he said, “Mr. Xia Liu Yi, are you willing to m-marry—no, are you willing to take me as your husband?”

Xia Liu Yi snorted with laughter, “Isn’t this kind of thing supposed to be done in a sea-view suite at a five-star hotel? You’re even trying to save money on this, Elite He?”

—To kidnap him into a shabby little storage room of a dilapidated restaurant and propose with nothing but some tacky, rotten flower petals on the floor? That was truly something only Elite He, who gave birthday gifts of paper cakes, wooed people with low-quality jade Buddhas, and invited lovers to cohabit in rundown apartments, would do!

Elite He stuttered, “B-but it has more meaning at Dad’s wedding.”

“What meaning? The meaning of scaring your dad to death?”

“It’s a big day, quickly take that back, ptooey ptooey ptooey.” He Chu San finally stopped stuttering, and his hands stopped shaking. He did the spitting gesture for him and defended himself, “Dad only met Mom Wu after being single for most of his life. They genuinely love and care for each other; such a relationship is so rare, so moving. I genuinely love you too, and I want to take care of you for the rest of my life…” The more he spoke, the more he saw Xia Liu Yi laughing intensely, and he became so anxious and impatient that he began to stutter again. “I’ve, I’ve said so much, so, so are you agreeing or not?”

Xia Liu Yi lowered his head and kept laughing, making He Chu San feel as if his heart were being scratched. It was rare that it was his turn to tease and toy with He Chu San. He only stopped after he had laughed his fill; then he unbuttoned two buttons of his coat and, with an imposing and dashing air, also knelt down in front of He Chu San.

“You silly boy, always acting sneaky—I guessed what you wanted to do ages ago!”

He also reached into his pocket and produced an exquisite little box. When he opened it, it was also a diamond ring—and that sparkling, large diamond was far more flamboyant than Elite He’s tiny little one!

“Put yours on too, Sister-in-law!”

The “Sister-in-law” was so excited he nearly fainted.

He had calculated everything; he had even imagined scenarios where the big boss would laugh off his proposal with a polite rejection, but he never expected the boss to kneel opposite him and propose to him as well! Who could have seen this coming!

Ignoring the ring he hadn’t yet put on, he lunged forward, hugged Xia Liu Yi, and began kissing him wildly and chaotically on his mouth and face. As he kissed, his eyes grew sore, and he sighed in disbelief.

“Brother Liu Yi, why do you like me so much?” He felt as if he were dreaming!

Xia Liu Yi, covered in his saliva from the frantic kissing, laughed and scolded, “Is there something wrong with liking you? Screw you!”

“Say it again.”

“What?”

“That sentence just now, just say the first three words.”

Xia Liu Yi burst into hearty laughter, “You little bastard, aren’t you being too cheesy?”

“Say it, I beg you.” This was a proposal, Boss! Don’t you understand that the cheesier it is, the better!

Xia Liu Yi laughed a few more times before pressing He Chu San’s head over to give him a bite, saying solemnly, “You little bastard, your Brother Liu Yi likes you.”

The “little bastard” collapsed heavily onto him, soft and limp, saying, “What do I do? My head is spinning, I can’t breathe, I think I’m going to faint.”

“Hahaha, stop putting on an act! Get up! Aren’t you tired after kneeling on the ground for so long?”

He Chu San wasn’t tired at all, and he had no intention of getting up. Starting to act like a madman, he pushed Xia Liu Yi down into the pile of rose petals and hurriedly began peeling off his clothes.

“Easy, take it easy!” Xia Liu Yi half-resisted, protecting his buttons, “Be careful with the clothes, you little bastard! We have to go out later!” When peeling from the top didn’t work, the little bastard turned to undoing his pant belt from the bottom. Xia Liu Yi glared at him, “Damn it, you’re really a closet pervert! There are so many people outside…”

The “closet pervert” grabbed Xia Liu Yi, rubbing a few times through his pants. Success! Now there were two closet perverts!

In the storage room, which was only a dozen square meters in size, the two closet perverts began fondling each other. Accompanied by the cheerful wedding music outside, they were on the verge of engaging in their lewd act. Who could have expected that just as they had only stripped off half their pants, someone came knocking on the door: thump, thump, thump.

Amidst the emcee’s festive praise, Xin Xin shouted from the outside, “Brother! Come out quickly! Go on stage with Dad and Mom!”

He Chu San’s face turned bright red as he looked up and shouted, “Wasn’t it agreed that you would go?!”

“Dad wants you to go too! You’re his son!”

He Chu San lingered on Xia Liu Yi, refusing to move, until he was pushed up by a knee from Boss Xia. “Go quickly, or your dad will come in here and catch us.”

He Chu San’s face fell, “I should have just booked a sea-view suite at the hotel.”

“You realize that only now?”

Xin Xin waited outside for several minutes before her brother finally emerged, dawdling. He hurriedly turned sideways to block Xin Xin’s curious gaze and secretively closed the door to the storage room.

“What are you doing,” Xin Xin said, “Can’t even let people look? Wow! Brother, there’s such a big ‘strawberry’ on your neck!”

He Chu San was startled and subconsciously touched his neck. Xin Xin laughed triumphantly, “I’m just teasing you! You really were messing around with Sister-in-law in there!”

“Talk nonsense.” He Chu San calmed himself down and said.

As the siblings talked while hurrying toward the side of the stage, Xin Xin whispered slyly, “Brother, tell me honestly, are you the one on the bottom?”

“Shut up.”

“Hahaha, shy now, aren’t you? You definitely are! Brother Liu Yi is so handsome! Do your brothers call you Sister-in-law? Sister-in-law He!”

He Chu San clamped his hand over her mouth—they had already arrived in front of Dad and Mom.

Dad He, having waited a long time, was very dissatisfied. He slapped him on the forehead, neither too lightly nor too heavily, “You useless brat! Your dad is getting married! Where did you sneak off to?!”

“It hurts! Dad, I was just beaten up by someone; I went to go apply some medicine.”

“Applying what? Where is the medicine on your face?” Father He slapped his forehead again, but He Chu San dodged nimbly. “What is that messy stuff stuck to your pants?” He bent down and pulled a petal from He Chu San’s knee. “What is this? A rose?”

“Right, right, right, roses I prepared for you guys. They got crushed during the earlier scuffle, so I just had to throw them away.” The “Best Actor” He improvised on the spot. Xin Xin snorted from the side. Father He glared at He Chu San even harder—as if he’d believe that!

“Don’t blame the child, let’s get on stage,” Mother Wu said, coming over to smooth things over.

The family happily took the stage amidst the cheers of the crowd. He Chu San escorted his father, and Xin Xin held Mother Wu’s arm—two pairs of joyous and radiant figures. Father He and Mother Wu were glowing with health and vitality; Xin Xin, wearing a little skirt, was youthful and cute, like a smiling little angel; He Chu San was a man of great talent and promise—what an enviable family! Standing in the middle, Father He was so proud his nose felt like it could touch the sky!

Father He happily took the microphone and began an endless speech. He Chu San was distracted, maintaining a smile while surreptitiously throwing glances toward the storage room.

The storage room door was slightly ajar. Everyone’s eyes were focused on the jubilant father on stage, except for He Chu San; no one else noticed Xia Liu Yi standing in the gap of the door.

Their eyes met. Xia Liu Yi suddenly winked at him, revealed a roguish smile, and began to slowly unbutton his shirt.

His slender fingers moved slowly, one button, another, then a third; his wheat-colored chest gradually revealed itself…

It was as if a match had been dropped into an ocean of lust; He Chu San was burning with desire in front of everyone. The “Best Actor” maintained an impeccable smile, calmly bent down, took a step back, and stood behind Father He—to hide his bulging trousers.

Boss, you really are too wicked. You are more than just begging for it! He muttered, gritting his teeth.

After finally managing to get off the stage, He Chu San accompanied his parents to toast a few tables, then lied about needing the restroom and vanished at high speed. After wandering around the restroom, he sneakily crept along the wall and slithered back into the storage room like a mouse.

The room was pitch black. Xia Liu Yi had turned off the lights and grabbed He Chu San’s hand before he could flip the switch. Warm breath enveloped He Chu San from behind, and slender fingers slid down his abdomen to undo his belt.

He Chu San grabbed the arms wrapped around his waist, feeling the smooth, warm skin, and couldn’t help but chuckle. “Who was calling who a closet pervert earlier? You’ve stripped all the way down?”

“I left you your underwear. You aren’t allowed to take them off with your hands.”

He Chu San turned around, caressing Xia Liu Yi’s waist, and half-knelt down. Through the underwear, he kissed that already blazing erection. His teeth gently caught the corner of the fabric, pulling it down slowly until the semi-erect organ sprang out and hit his face. He kissed the glans lightly, then took it into his mouth.

Xia Liu Yi let out a satisfied sigh, leaning back against the door. He Chu San suckled him while caressing his inner thighs and kneading his buttocks. Xia Liu Yi furrowed his brows and groaned, asking in the intervals between his gasps, “Did you bring condoms?”

He Chu San made a wet, sucking sound, reached into his pocket, pulled out a stack of condoms, and stuffed them into Xia Liu Yi’s palm. The big boss, enjoying the service of his lips and tongue, still had the leisure to count them. “Damn it, you brought five?! You want to die in here?!”

He Chu San stood up, pressed Xia Liu Yi’s hand to undo his own belt, released the famished “He Chu Si,” and gestured for him to grasp and fondle both A’Er and A’Si in his palm. He let out a sigh of equal satisfaction, biting Xia Liu Yi’s earlobe, and pressed down his desire to ask, “Then how many times do you want to go?”

“One or two times at most. We still have to go back out later.”

“Then we’ll do it three times.”

“Little bastard, you…”

He was silenced by He Chu San’s kiss. As they hungrily sucked on each other’s tongues, they worked together to strip off He Chu San’s clothes. Once they were stark naked, He Chu San pulled out a small packet of lubricant like a magic trick, flipped Xia Liu Yi over against the door, and patiently began to prep him while kissing the back of his neck. Xia Liu Yi twisted his waist in agony and pleasure; over-excited, he accidentally bumped his forehead against the door and hissed in pain, “Not here.”

He Chu San stepped back a few paces and groped around. “Where’s your jacket?” Through the faint light leaking in from the door gap, he found it on the pile of rose petals, spread it flat, and pulled Xia Liu Yi down to lie on it.

“No,” Xia Liu Yi said. “If it gets wrinkled, how can I go back out?”

“Wear my jacket out.”

“Aren’t you cold?” It was December!

He Chu San covered Xia Liu Yi’s mouth, pressed his palm against his own hard lower half with his other hand, and pleaded earnestly, “Brother Liu Yi, please stop talking. Feel this; I’m really freezing to death. Just let me inside you to warm up.”

Xia Liu Yi grabbed A’Si in retaliation. He Chu San felt a slight pang of pain, quickly put a thin “cap” on A’Si, pried Xia Liu Yi’s buttocks apart, and thrust all the way in.

Xia Liu Yi let out a long, low moan. Thanks to He Chu San’s careful preparation, he didn’t feel pain, just a mix of soreness and shame that felt both awkward and thrilling. That little bastard was lying through his teeth, he thought. Cold? My ass. That thing is so hot it feels like it’s going to burn me from the inside! He Chu San began to move, thrusting deep and shallow. Xia Liu Yi couldn’t help but cover his face with his arms and moan, his long legs tightening around He Chu San’s waist, as if to push him away or invite him in. After dozens of rapid movements, He Chu San suddenly pinched both of his nipples. Xia Liu Yi shivered and pulled back, nearly climaxing.

“L-little bastard! Let go…”

He Chu San was hardly that obedient; he maliciously rubbed and caressed them with his fingertips, panting as he asked, “Brother Liu Yi, there’s one thing I’ve never understood. Why are you so sensitive there?”

“Damn it, how would I know why! Ah…”

“When you’re wearing clothes normally, doesn’t the friction from the fabric make you climax on your own?”

“Ha… what…”

Xia Liu Yi was being stimulated on his sensitive point below and viciously teased above; he was so blissed out he could barely hear what was being said. With his eyes closed, savoring the pleasure exploding from deep within his body, he let out a vague nasal sound. He heard He Chu San ask the question again.

Finding He Chu San too long-winded, he grabbed his hair, pulled him down, and blocked his mouth with his own. Now, both of their groans were unintelligible. After kissing for a long time, he let He Chu San go to catch his breath and chuckled, “Clothes are nowhere near as comfortable as your touch.” He Chu San suddenly hoisted his legs onto his shoulders and thrust in even deeper and harder—too damn addictive, Boss! Have to go hard!

Xia Liu Yi was thrust so fast and hard he could barely breathe, his lungs gasping in air only to have it knocked out of him in segments. His fingers dug deeply into He Chu San’s back.

He Chu San’s breathing was heavy, muffled by the warm, soft flesh. In the darkness, he could faintly see Xia Liu Yi’s raised chin and hear the irregular, hoarse moans. His soul had been hooked by Xia Liu Yi to the highest heavens; he couldn’t even feel the pain on his back.

After accelerating to drive in hard a hundred more times, he grasped Xia Liu Yi’s organ, and their simultaneous low roar of climax was drowned out by the roaring noise from outside the banquet hall.

The two lay on the floor in each other’s arms to recover their breath. The crushed rose petals beneath them emitted a refreshing fragrance. Xia Liu Yi grabbed a handful of petals and smeared them on He Chu San’s face, cupping his chin to kiss the fragrant, slightly bitter juice. After some intimacy, He Chu San pulled him up, let him lean against the wall, changed the condom, lifted one of his legs, and thrust inside.

This time, He Chu San moved slowly, a long and grinding process of teasing within the passage. When Xia Liu Yi couldn’t help but pinch his lower back, He Chu San felt the pain and turned vicious, slamming into him with a flurry of strikes that left Xia Liu Yi gasping.

Unable to hold back, he pushed He Chu San away, but He Chu San caught him, pressed him against the door, and pried open his drenched buttocks to squeeze back in. The two bodies collided against the door, creating loud thumping sounds. He Chu San slammed into him while soothing his tip, his fingers kneading and pulling at the sensitive point while his other hand grabbed and squeezed his firm, resilient chest. Xia Liu Yi almost screamed out loud and had to cover his mouth tightly.

All secret room trysts have that one inescapable moment—someone knocking on the door. Xia Liu Yi froze, but the little bastard kept on plowing away behind him. He was slammed forward again, and unable to bear it, he hit back with his elbow, signaling that someone was outside.

He Chu San stopped, hearing the person outside knock again.

“Is someone there? Is it locked from the inside?” an old lady’s voice said.

She was a guest sitting at the nearest table. Her eyes were bad, but her ears were sharp; hearing the door nearby thumping, she thought someone was banging on it. Xia Liu Yi was about to speak, but He Chu San inevitably gave a fierce, deep thrust from behind. Xia Liu Yi whimpered, his legs going soft, only to be scooped up by the waist and slammed again, rising onto his tiptoes. Furious, he grabbed He Chu San’s forearm and bit down hard. Both of them furrowed their brows, gritting their teeth to endure the moaning—why must lovers hurt each other so?

He Chu San had a large piece of flesh from his forearm being gnawed on, his face contorted in pain. He tried to maintain a calm tone and shouted, “It’s nothing, just tidying up!”

“Do you need me to call the manager to help you open the door?” the kind old lady asked.

“No need, I can open it myself. Thank you.”

“As long as you can open it…” The old lady muttered as she walked away. As soon as her voice faded, Xia Liu Yi let go and pinched the bite marks hard.

“Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!” He Chu San whispered in agony. “Let go, are we still going to do this, Brother Liu Yi?”

“Do it, my ass,” Xia Liu Yi gritted his teeth. “Get out!”

“You’re biting me down there too, I can’t get out… ah, ouch, I was wrong, I was wrong…”

The two of them, like conjoined twins, retreated to the wall furthest from the door and resumed their collision. A’Si rested securely in the soft, wet “paradise”—welcomed at the front and enthusiastically detained at the back, so comfortable it had no desire to leave. After bouncing around for a long time, it suddenly shuddered, tightening its entire body, and soaked the little “raincoat” that wrapped it.

After the climax, He Chu San rested his chin on Xia Liu Yi’s shoulder, panting, touching and caressing him. He felt the fluid that had splashed onto his lower abdomen and smeared it onto Xia Liu Yi’s abs.

“Brother Liu Yi, have you been working on your muscles lately? They seem even harder.”

“Aren’t you working on yours, too?” Xia Liu Yi pinched his waist.

“Hehe, you noticed? I go to the gym twice a week.”

“Why are you training for this?”

“No choice, I have to serve the Big Boss.” Merely practicing Tai Chi in his spare time was clearly not enough. To have a body like a pine tree and a waist like a motor, that’s not a one-day effort.

“My colleague told me there’s a position called the ‘ekiben,” he said happily. “Maybe later we can…”

Elio’s Notes: Ekiben (駅弁) literally means “train-station boxed meal” in Japanese. In Japanese slang, however, “ekiben” refers to a sexual position in which one partner lifts and supports the other while standing, reminiscent of a passenger carrying a boxed meal purchased at a train station. The term is widely recognized in Japanese popular culture and adult media, and is often used humorously or as a shorthand reference rather than as a clinical description.

He didn’t even finish before Xia Liu Yi pinched him again. “Screw you, you’re just doing this for that?”

After lingering and cuddling for a long time talking sweet nothings, Xia Liu Yi regained his energy, pushed He Chu San away, walked to the door on legs apart to turn on the light, and looked for his clothes.

In the sudden brightness of the room, He Chu San saw his slender back, sweat flowing over the vertical scars of old wounds, looking like a fire phoenix totem washed by water. His firm buttocks were red and swollen from the impact, and the sticky, lustrous fluid slid down his straight, long legs—how could he endure it? He strode forward to wrap his arms around his waist, rubbing against him, wanting to go for another round.

Xia Liu Yi, unexpectedly, didn’t lose his temper or get annoyed. He turned his head, kissed him, and said gently, “No more, I have things to do tonight.”

“Who knows when I’ll see you next.” He Chu San nuzzled his temple and acted like a spoiled child.

Xia Liu Yi touched his face and laughed, “Silly boy. I’m going home to sleep tonight.”

“Really?!”

“It’ll be late, so if you’re tired, go to sleep first.”

He Chu San kissed him excitedly. “Not tired! I’ll wait for you.”

With something to look forward to, he became happy and excited. He found tissues to wipe each other down, served Xia Liu Yi as he put on his clothes, and then quickly cleaned up the storage room. He dumped the rose petals from the floor and Xia Liu Yi’s jacket—which had been crushed into a ball and stained with unidentifiable fluids—into the large burlap sack. Carefully opening a gap in the door, he saw that the hall was bustling and lively, with no one noticing this little corner. He and Xia Liu Yi slipped out one after the other and left the restaurant through the back door, hugging the wall.

Several of Boss Xia’s bodyguards were guarding the back door. Seeing the Big Boss and his partner come out together, they called to have the car brought around. The alley was quiet, dark, and chilly. He Chu San took off his own jacket and draped it over Xia Liu Yi’s shoulders, but Xia Liu Yi draped it right back.

“It’s cold on the road,” He Chu San whispered.

“The car has a heater,” Xia Liu Yi said, pressing down on his shoulders. “Put it on!” He pulled him closer into his embrace.

The bodyguards kept their eyes on their noses and their noses on their hearts; they were exceptionally well-trained.

The car approached quickly. Xia Liu Yi stroked the back of his neck, strode into the backseat, and waved at him through the window.

“Hurry and go back in. Your dad will start getting suspicious.”

He Chu San smiled but didn’t speak, standing stubbornly in place to watch him go. The convoy slowly drove away, exiting the alley. The night wind began to howl, blowing the white suit jacket until it puffed out against the wind.

He Chu San pulled his clothes around him, his eyes still fixed on the direction the car had gone, his fingers fumbling several times before he could button the buttons correctly.

He didn’t know why, but a faint uneasiness rose in his heart. Tonight had been too happy, too joyous; after the fiery sea of lust had burned intensely, he keenly smelled a trace of charred earth. Like a masochist, he felt something wasn’t quite right.

—Xia Liu Yi was “too good” to him.

He didn’t doubt Xia Liu Yi’s genuine feelings for a second. If he didn’t love him, this man would never have allowed even the slightest intimacy. Emotions like this couldn’t be faked, and Xia Liu Yi was a man incapable of insincerity.

But he knew Xia Liu Yi too well: Xia Liu Yi’s love was avoidant, long-suffering, subtle, and surging with hidden currents. For the other party to be so direct and frank in showing his love now, doing everything in his power to treat him with such tenderness—what was he feeling guilty about? What was he concealing? What was he trying to make up for?

Reaching into his pocket, he gripped the small box he had exchanged for tightly in his palm. He took a long, slow breath, knowing that things were far from as simple as “two people who love each other pledging their lives to one another and living happily ever after.”

Though he hoped with all his heart that the ending would be like that, he would make sure the ending was like that.
