TUMIT – Volume 2: Chapter 55

Mu Xueshi had not remained unconscious for long before the Third Prince forcibly roused him again.

The prince had already released the pressure points that had immobilized him.

But the moment Mu Xueshi regained awareness, waves of pain surged through his body—pain so sharp it felt as though flesh itself were being torn apart.

He curled up instinctively, his body bending like a shrimp.

With trembling hands he clutched desperately at the Third Prince’s hair, unable to restrain himself as the agony overwhelmed him.

His tears had long since run dry. His face was twisted out of shape from the torment. Again and again he fainted—only to be dragged back into consciousness.

Yet the Third Prince showed no sign of stopping.

“Xi… Xi…”

Mu Xueshi had already lost all clarity of thought. His lips trembled as broken pleas slipped from them, again and again.

The moment the Third Prince heard that name, his heart clenched violently.

Pain pierced him—mixed with an overwhelming surge of jealousy and resentment.

The more Mu Xueshi suffered…

the more the Third Prince’s own heart twisted with pain and hatred.

Even so, the effects of the aphrodisiac still coursed through Mu Xueshi’s body.

The powerful numbness and burning pleasure tangled cruelly with the agony, attacking him from both sides.

He felt as though he had reached the very limit of endurance.

The swelling pressure below had also reached its peak, as though it would burst at any moment.

If it did—

this punishment would finally end.

But at that very moment—

the Third Prince suddenly bound the swollen length tightly with a silk ribbon, preventing any release.

The pain that followed was unbearable.

If there had been a knife within reach, Mu Xueshi might have plunged it into himself without hesitation just to end the torment.

But he could not.

His body was firmly restrained by the Third Prince.

All he could do was endure the relentless agony.

By now Mu Xueshi no longer cared who the person beside him was.

The overwhelming torture had stripped away every shred of rational thought.

Desperately he clawed at the ribbon, trying to untie it.

His nails raked wildly across the Third Prince’s arm, leaving countless streaks of blood.

Yet the Third Prince remained unmoved.

The stimulation continued to intensify beneath him.

Mu Xueshi’s consciousness began to blur.

His throat turned hoarse from screaming, and the moments of unconsciousness came more and more frequently.

At last, Mu Xueshi felt as though he had reached the very edge of death.

Just as he was about to surrender completely—

the Third Prince suddenly pulled the ribbon loose.

A burst of thick white fluid spilled forth.

Mu Xueshi’s back arched violently.

With a hoarse cry, he screamed as the long-delayed release finally overtook him.

Then his strength completely collapsed.

He fell weakly onto the bed.

Cold sweat drenched his entire body. His face was utterly pale, devoid of even the faintest trace of blood—as though life itself had nearly left him.

Gradually, his mind began to clear.

With a deathly pale face, Mu Xueshi suddenly lunged forward and threw himself into the Third Prince’s chest.

Burying his head there, he sobbed hoarsely.

“I won’t dare again… I truly won’t…”

“Xi… I can’t endure it anymore… please don’t torture me like this…”

The Third Prince looked down at him.

Mu Xueshi’s body was covered in bruises and marks. His hair hung in disarray. His eyes were swollen and distorted from crying.

It felt as though the Third Prince’s heart had been ruthlessly trampled.

In the past, he had been able to watch Mu Xueshi’s suffering without the slightest reaction.

But now—

after personally inflicting the punishment himself—

the pain in his own heart felt as though it were being torn apart.

Why…

Why must I be controlled by him like this?

Why have I begun to fear losing someone as well?

Suddenly, the Third Prince pushed Mu Xueshi away.

His expression dark and ominous, he turned and strode out of his bedchamber.

The aphrodisiac had already worn off.

Mu Xueshi collapsed weakly onto the bed.

The flesh beneath him had turned faintly bluish from the earlier torment; even the slightest touch would send waves of unbearable pain through him.

He could not move at all.

As he watched the Third Prince’s figure gradually disappear into the distance, an indescribable loneliness suddenly filled his chest.

It felt as though the next moment might bring a parting between life and death.

Xi…

I found the evidence to clear my name.

I might truly be able to go home now.

Xi…

I think I saw that silver coin again…

Perhaps it is about to return—to stay with you.

Xi…

Just this once more…

Please forgive me.

Slowly, Mu Xueshi closed his eyes.

And he did not move again.
