TUMIT – Volume 2: Chapter 42

Mu Xueshi felt a faint unease stirring within him.

A chill crept slowly along his spine. In the Third Prince’s gaze there lingered something both vague and unmistakably clear—an undercurrent of desire. Mu Xueshi sensed it, yet he did not dare let his thoughts wander too far in that direction.

Suddenly—

The Third Prince reached out and stripped away Mu Xueshi’s inner robe in a single motion, revealing the smooth, snow-white expanse of his chest.

Mu Xueshi startled and instinctively pushed against him.

“What are you doing?”

The memory of the last incident surfaced in his mind, and even now it filled him with unbearable embarrassment.

The Third Prince ignored the resistance.

He leaned down and pressed his lips against Mu Xueshi’s mouth. His tongue slipped inside with practiced ease while his hand moved to the soft swell on Mu Xueshi’s chest, fingers slowly kneading and pressing the sensitive flesh.

Mu Xueshi froze in shock.

He tried to push the prince away, yet his strength was insignificant compared to the man holding him. A clear, spreading pleasure surged through his nerves, rushing straight to his head.

Once again he found himself drowning in a tide of uncontrollable desire.

He remembered the previous times they had touched—his body had never rejected it. Even his mind had not truly resisted.

What is wrong with me…

Mu Xueshi nearly burst into tears as the word “pervert” flashed repeatedly through his thoughts.

He wanted to refuse the Third Prince—yet under those wandering hands he could only let out a muffled sound.

The Third Prince watched him with a faintly wicked expression, as if he could see straight into Mu Xueshi’s heart.

“Your body understands perfectly well,” he murmured.

“Why is your mind still feigning ignorance?”

“What do I understand?” Mu Xueshi asked nervously.

The Third Prince slipped his hand beneath Mu Xueshi’s trousers, grasping the half-hardened warmth hidden there. His fingers moved lazily along it, drawing sharp breaths from Mu Xueshi’s lips.

“It knows that your body is loyal to your heart,” he said softly.

“And in your heart… you wish to share pleasure with me.”

The blunt declaration turned Mu Xueshi’s face scarlet.

He glared fiercely at the prince like a small lion ready to bare its claws.

“I do not! Don’t insult me. I don’t have such shameful thoughts!”

The Third Prince gave a low, amused laugh.

“There is nothing shameful about it. It should be called beautiful.”

“In our dynasty, affection between men is not uncommon. Two beautiful men joining together is considered the most refined form of love.”

Mu Xueshi blinked in astonishment.

“Really? You’re not lying to me? There’s actually such a thing?”

The Third Prince’s lips curved faintly.

“Wu Cai is your father’s male companion. A male companion is simply another form of spouse.”

“Male companion…” Mu Xueshi muttered.

Then he glanced sideways at the Third Prince.

“What about you?”

“What about me?”

Mu Xueshi hesitated before asking timidly,

“You… you have those improper thoughts about me too?”

The Third Prince snorted softly.

“What is improper about it?”

Mu Xueshi’s cheeks flushed deeper. Under the prince’s teasing touch his breathing had already grown unsteady.

“So… you do…”

The Third Prince lifted a brow and gently grasped Mu Xueshi’s chin.

“If you wish it, then it exists,” he replied calmly.

“If you do not wish it, then it does not.”

His tone remained as cool and composed as ever, without the slightest trace of mockery or frivolity. The words seemed to come directly from his heart.

Strangely enough, Mu Xueshi felt no fear.

Instead, a quiet sense of relief spread through him.

He had long realized that his feelings toward the Third Prince had crossed a forbidden line. He simply lacked the courage to admit it—even to himself.

Now, with the prince speaking so openly, it no longer felt like a secret he alone carried.

If both of them desired it… then perhaps it was not wrong.

And according to the prince, such things were even accepted in this world.

Perhaps he had merely been influenced by the customs here.

With that thought, Mu Xueshi suddenly wrapped his arms around the Third Prince’s neck and pulled him close, hugging him tightly against his chest.

“So I’m finally not alone anymore,” he said with a bright grin. “Even if you’re a man… since it’s you, Xi, I’m actually quite happy.”

Then he tilted his head.

“What about you?”

The Third Prince had no time to indulge Mu Xueshi’s sudden excitement.

He had long known the other man harbored feelings for him—Mu Xueshi had merely feigned ignorance. Earlier that morning, when Mu Xueshi had burst into tears after accidentally losing the flower pollen he had been carefully saving, the Third Prince had finally decided to take this relationship seriously.

At that moment his lower body was already painfully aroused.

Sharing a bed each night with such a breathtaking beauty—and enduring it until now—was already a miracle of restraint.

At first his pride had prevented him from touching Mu Xueshi. Unless Mu Xueshi willingly sought him out, he would never humiliate him.

Later, however, as he watched Mu Xueshi’s peaceful sleeping face night after night, warmth and tranquility often filled his heart. He rarely wished to disturb that innocence.

But now—

The desire he had suppressed for so long had grown impossible to ignore.

He reached for the last thin garment covering Mu Xueshi’s body.

Mu Xueshi quickly grabbed his wrist.

“Wait—wait! Let me think about it first!”

“You have no right to think.”

The Third Prince’s expression turned cold.

“You are already mine. Yet today you went to see Physician Li without permission. That is a serious offense.”

“You should accept punishment.”

With that, he pulled down Mu Xueshi’s trousers in one smooth motion.

Then he turned him over, leaving the pale curves of his hips exposed before delivering a light smack against them.

“W-wait…!” Mu Xueshi whimpered. “You only just told me about the rules. If I had known earlier, I wouldn’t have dared!”

Ignoring the protest, the Third Prince bound Mu Xueshi’s wrists loosely to the bedposts on either side.

Mu Xueshi twisted around to look at him, puzzled.

“You don’t have to force it,” he said honestly. “I’m actually pretty willing…”

The Third Prince leaned closer, his breath warm against Mu Xueshi’s ear.

“It may hurt a little at first.”

Mu Xueshi shivered as the warm breath tickled his ear and instinctively squirmed away. In the process he barely registered the meaning behind the words.

Behind him, the Third Prince’s fingers moved slowly, spreading a fine medicinal oil across his skin.

Mu Xueshi relaxed almost immediately.

Pressing his cheek happily against the pillow, he even chuckled softly.

“You still remember my injury… hehe…”
