TUMIT – Volume 2: Chapter 15

The Third Prince’s hand slowly moved across Mu Xueshi’s smooth skin.

When his fingers brushed against the sensitive point on his chest, Mu Xueshi’s body shuddered violently and his eyes flew open.

“Th-this…” he stammered, face flushing red.

“Are you… helping me wash?”

The Third Prince said nothing.

Instead, he lowered his head and brushed his lips along Mu Xueshi’s ear, lightly nibbling and teasing.

A shiver ran through Mu Xueshi’s entire body.

He jumped away as though struck by lightning, raising his pale arms in panic while waving his hands helplessly.

“Xi… this… this won’t do! This isn’t right!”

The Third Prince’s gaze in the darkness was deep and dangerous.

His lips curved into a proud smile.

“Why is it not right?”

Faced with those mesmerizing eyes, Mu Xueshi stammered helplessly.

“It’s… just not right… I mean… I don’t know exactly why…”

Before he could finish, the Third Prince suddenly pulled him close again.

His lips left faint marks along Mu Xueshi’s slender white neck.

Suddenly—

Mu Xueshi burst into loud laughter, completely ruining the atmosphere.

The Third Prince narrowed his eyes in displeasure.

But Mu Xueshi, pretending to be carefree, tried to calm both himself and the prince.

“I remember now! We’re both men! That’s why it’s not right!”

The Third Prince snorted softly.

“Throughout the world there are many who share the Passion of the Cut Sleeve. Why should we be any different?”

Mu Xueshi did not understand the reference.

He merely darted his eyes around like a nervous mouse searching for somewhere to hide.

Unfortunately, his body had already betrayed him.

Though inexperienced, he recognized the reaction and immediately flushed with shame, terrified the Third Prince would notice.

The Third Prince, of course, had noticed long ago.

Seeing Mu Xueshi’s flustered expression, he could not help finding it amusing.

Just as Mu Xueshi was still panicking, something suddenly clamped onto him beneath the water.

His mouth fell open in shock.

His trembling hands reached down—only to grab something hard and unyielding, like the claw of a crab.

“What’s happening?!” he cried.

The Third Prince answered calmly,

“That is a water vine. A type of aquatic plant that grows in water. When it touches something firm, it immediately coils around it. Normally it clings to the pool walls… but tonight it seems to have chosen you instead.”

The moment Mu Xueshi heard the word “firm,” even his ears turned red.

He looked like a boiled shrimp.

“Why is there grass in your bath?!” he wailed.

“Wh-what do I do? Will it hurt me?”

The Third Prince replied solemnly,

“The leaves of the water vine secrete nourishing droplets, which is why it was placed here. However, the vine has a particular trait—it wraps around whatever it grasps until there is not the slightest gap left. And its edges are sharp as saw teeth. If it is not removed quickly…”

He paused deliberately.

“It may sever… vital parts.”

“Waaah—!”

Mu Xueshi burst into terrified sobs.

Staring helplessly at the tightly coiled vine around his most precious possession, he didn’t even dare touch it.

The Third Prince had only meant it as a joke.

But Mu Xueshi believed every word.

Thinking the prince could not see beneath the water, he assumed the warning was completely serious.

After crying until his throat grew hoarse, Mu Xueshi noticed the prince still had no intention of helping.

Then suddenly—

A sharp sting shot through his lower body.

In panic, he shouted desperately:

“Help… help me! I don’t want to become a… a eunuch!”

His small face scrunched tightly as he clenched his fists near the afflicted area, not even daring to touch it.
