CD – Extra 1 – Chapter 4: The Story of Xiao Ma

Under the pretext of recuperating, the two spent their days arguing in the house and their nights fighting in bed. More than a month passed amid all that noisy bickering before Jade Guanyin’s friend brought them another piece of news.

That afternoon, Xiao Ma lay on his back in bed, working the muscles in his arm with a dumbbell. Jade Guanyin limped through the doorway, leaned against the frame, and said, “There’s news about Liu Yi. He’s gone back to Hong Kong.”

The dumbbell froze in midair. Xiao Ma slowly turned his head to look at her.

“Are you going to tell him you’re still alive? Are you going back?” Jade Guanyin asked bluntly.

Xiao Ma remained silent for a long time.

If he reported that he was safe, he would inevitably have to explain why. And if he returned to Hong Kong, what would happen to Jade Guanyin? Would he take her back with him? What would the Boss do to her?

He remained silent until deep into the night, lying motionless with his eyes fixed on the ceiling. Jade Guanyin lay beside him, breathing evenly as though she were asleep. Suddenly, in the darkness, Xiao Ma turned and rolled on top of her. Her eyes gleamed in the dark. She had not been asleep either.

Xiao Ma roughly seized her hair, lowered his head, and kissed her deeply.

He pinned her against the headboard and drove into her hard, kneading her roughly as he fucked her with all his strength and slapped her ass again and again. Her pert, pale buttocks rippled as she twisted, red marks appearing one after another until the flesh gradually swelled beneath his blows. With her taste for pain, Jade Guanyin stuck out her tongue and let out high, seductive moans, every sound alluring to the bone like the cries of a soul-stealing fox spirit. Xiao Ma gripped her throat to silence her. The pleasure of suffocation made her cock arch high, and without being touched at all, she came on her own.

They rolled together from midnight until dawn. Jade Guanyin was fucked until she cried and screamed, the tear tracks on her face drying only to become wet again. Her breasts were covered in crisscrossing bite marks, and her nipples had been bitten until they resembled red grapes. The organ between her legs had gone limp like a soft worm and would no longer rise no matter how roughly Xiao Ma teased it. In the end, she was fucked until she trembled and pissed herself, sprawled across the bed with a vacant expression, her entire body looking as though she had been pulled from the water. Yet she still kept her ass raised, her passage clenching tightly around Xiao Ma and refusing to let him go.

Xiao Ma climbed out of bed, carried her into the bathroom, and pinned her down on the floor to fuck her for another round. Jade Guanyin remained on all fours like a dog, every thrust knocking her forward. Her waist had gone too weak for her to straighten, and all she could do was sob and whimper in a voice as faint as a mosquito’s. In her daze, she was lifted again and pressed against the wall, her feet leaving the floor as Xiao Ma fucked her. The entire weight of her body rested on the thick shaft buried inside her ass.

After one final trembling gasp, Jade Guanyin lost all strength and fainted.

In the afternoon, she woke to the chirping of insects and birds. Turning her head, she stared blankly out the window and recalled every wild detail from the previous night—the fierce, intoxicated expression on Xiao Ma’s face as their bodies rose and fell, sweat dripping from his rugged, heroic features and landing on her forehead… Her face flushed, and her heart began pounding.

Back when Xia Liu Yi had taken several bodyguards with her to meet Golden Maitreya, Jade Guanyin had immediately noticed that the scar-faced brute among them was no ordinary bodyguard. He looked more like a junior leader Xia Liu Yi had brought along as his successor. She had deliberately approached the group and sized them up from head to toe. The brute wore a vicious expression, yet his gaze kept drifting toward her chest. Whenever she glanced flirtatiously back at him, however, he would immediately look away and pretend not to care. After examining him several times, she decided that, of all the men she had ever seen, he looked to have the strongest hips and kidneys, the biggest equipment, and the best skill in bed. So she had pinned him down and stripped off his trousers. Sure enough, he was extraordinary…

Thinking back on it now, Jade Guanyin decided that their farewell sex the previous night had at least been thoroughly satisfying. Xiao Ma’s departure no longer weighed quite so heavily on her. Curling up, she silently rubbed her red, swollen eyes from crying, lay there a while longer, then climbed out of bed to find something to eat in the kitchen.

To her astonishment, Xiao Ma was standing crookedly in the kitchen, one hand braced against his waist as he watched over a pot of plain congee.

When Xiao Ma turned and saw her, he was equally astonished.

He had worked himself half to death all night and nearly drained himself dry before finally managing to fuck the insatiable enchantress unconscious. He had smugly expected Jade Guanyin to remain bedridden for three days so that he could finally take revenge for all her earlier teasing. Yet after only a few hours of sleep, she was already up and full of energy, while he himself had lost too much essence and now had an aching waist and trembling legs.

“Are you the reincarnation of some damn snake spirit?!” he cursed. “Go back to bed!”

Jade Guanyin remained standing in the kitchen doorway, staring blankly at him. “You’re not leaving?”

“Leaving for what?” Xiao Ma turned away, tasted the congee, and replied casually, “Didn’t you say you’d get lost once your injuries healed? They haven’t healed yet, have they?”

Jade Guanyin stood frozen in place. The nerves in her leg had been damaged. Perhaps it would never fully heal for the rest of her life.

Was Xiao Ma saying he intended to stay with her forever?

“…”

“Damn it! What are you doing?! Get away, get away! Don’t—don’t touch me! Are you crazy?! I can’t get hard anymore! Let go! Ahhh! Damn it, you monster…”

Screaming, Xiao Ma was pounced on and devoured for another round across the kitchen counter. Completely squeezed dry, he collapsed weakly onto the sofa with an aching waist and back and silently shed tears. Jade Guanyin carried out the finished congee while he lay sprawled there and cursed feebly, “Damn it, I’m not living with you anymore. Do you survive by sucking men’s life force?”

Jade Guanyin set down the congee and smilingly threw herself into his arms. Rubbing her face against his stubbled chin, she wrapped both arms around his waist and nestled against him like a little bird. “Brother Ma.”

“What do you mean, Brother Ma? You’re older than me, you shameless old mare!” Xiao Ma shoved her.

Jade Guanyin was only three months older than him, yet her skin was three inches thicker. Completely unmoved, she continued draping herself over him and acting coquettishly. “I’ll have the surgery, Brother Ma. I’ll become your woman.”

“Stop thinking nonsense all day.” Xiao Ma smacked the back of her head. “I only care that you’re healthy. Whether you’re a man, a woman, or anything else doesn’t matter to me.”

The mere thought of cutting off her little bird made his own balls ache again.

Jade Guanyin lay quietly against his chest. After a while, she started teasing him again. Xiao Ma cursed loudly and mounted a desperate resistance, and the two ended up wrestling together across the sofa.

Yet Xiao Ma ultimately still left.

Two months later, news arrived from Hong Kong that the police had sealed off Xiao Qi Hall, Xia Liu Yi had disappeared, and Cui Dong Dong had blown herself up and died while resisting arrest.

After hearing the news, Jade Guanyin stood on the balcony and smoked throughout the entire afternoon.

Xiao Ma had eaten lunch, put on a large straw hat, and eagerly headed out with a fishing rod over his shoulder. He did not return until dusk. The moment he entered the house, he smelled burnt food everywhere.

“Jade Guanyin, you bastard! You burned the rice again! Is your brain made of pig shit?! Were you planning to eat the bottom of the pot for dinner?!”

Jade Guanyin extinguished her last cigarette and calmly stepped in from the balcony.

Xiao Ma angrily seized her collar. With effortless ease, she threw him over her shoulder and slammed him onto the floor.

The two immediately started fighting for real. The outcome was decided in less than two exchanges—Jade Guanyin twisted Xiao Ma’s arm behind his back and pinned him against the wall.

“My arm! My arm! It’s going to break!” he screamed. “You’re murdering your own husband!”

After Jade Guanyin released him, Xiao Ma rubbed his wrist and stubbornly continued talking tough. “You’re only taking advantage of the fact that I can’t bear to hit you!”

Jade Guanyin made as though to attack again.

A true man knew when to yield. Xiao Ma immediately turned and fled toward the kitchen. “Don’t, don’t! Little Sister Xiao Yu, burning the rice doesn’t matter. Brother Ma will make fish soup for you! Hehehe!”

Jade Guanyin limped after him into the kitchen, folded her arms, and leaned against the wall to watch.

Xiao Ma expertly gutted the fish while nagging her. “Haven’t you ever heard the old Chinese saying, ‘A gentleman uses his mouth, not his fists’? When Brother Ma cursed you just now, that was ‘using his mouth.’ But when you hit Brother Ma, that was ‘using your fists,’ and that isn’t right. Brother Ma treats you so well. How could you bear to do that? Weren’t you the one who said you wanted fish? I spent the whole afternoon squatting by the river for you, yet when I came home, I couldn’t even get a bite of hot food. How could you have the heart?”

“If something happened to Liu Yi, would you go back?”

Holding a live fish with scales and slime covering his hands, Xiao Ma turned toward her. “What?”

Jade Guanyin did not continue for a long time. She merely looked at him.

Xiao Ma threw the fish into the sink, set down the knife, and asked again with cautious seriousness, “What did you just say?”

Jade Guanyin already knew his answer.

She had felt the impulse to conceal the truth from Xiao Ma, but she had never intended to act on it. The mortal world was like an Asura battlefield to her, and Xiao Ma was her only ray of light. If she deceived him and he eventually found out… she did not want to see the expression he would wear then.

Looking into Xiao Ma’s eyes, she said, “Something has happened to Xiao Qi Hall. You should go.”

Xiao Ma could hardly believe it, but Jade Guanyin was not someone who would joke about something like this. “What happened?”

“I don’t know exactly, but I heard that Liu Yi has disappeared and your deputy hall master is dead.”

Xiao Ma’s expression turned cold. The blood throughout his body seemed to freeze.

Sister Dong Dong is dead?!

He instinctively paced several steps away. After thinking for a moment, he asked, “What about you? What will you do?”

“I can’t go with you,” Jade Guanyin said. “Kun Zhang and Interpol are both looking for me. If I show up, I’ll only bring trouble to Xiao Qi Hall.”

Besides, if Xia Liu Yi was still alive, he would certainly be unhappy to see her. She did not want Xiao Ma caught between her and Liu Yi.

For a moment, Xiao Ma looked completely lost. He paced back and forth several more times.

He had to return, but he could not stop worrying about Jade Guanyin. Several times, he opened his mouth only to hesitate.

Jade Guanyin spoke for him. “Go. I’ll wait here for you.”

“You… Can you take care of yourself?”

“I’m not a child,” Jade Guanyin said.

Seeing the anxiety and disdain on Xiao Ma’s face—You can’t even cook—she pursed her lips and added, “I’ll hire a servant.”

Xiao Ma felt slightly more reassured, but his thoughts remained in chaos. The news that Xia Liu Yi had disappeared and Cui Dong Dong had died tormented him.

He did not even have the heart for farewell sex. That night, Jade Guanyin teased him with her lips and tongue for a long time but could not rouse Second Master Ma. Xiao Ma lifted her into his arms and held her tightly, then reached down with his broad hand. She had not become hard either.

He caught Jade Guanyin’s mouth and kissed her gently, his heart filled with tenderness.

He knew she could not bear to part with him.

From the moment he had jumped off that cliff, he had never doubted his own sincerity. From the moment he saw Jade Guanyin’s tears, he had never doubted hers.

Before Jade Guanyin, all he possessed was one sincere heart and one worthless life. He did not even have a scrap of cloth with which to conceal that sincerity.

If Jade Guanyin did not love him, what possible reason could she have for staying with him?

Before dawn, Xiao Ma got out of bed and packed his luggage. He chose an outfit and picked up the forged passport Jade Guanyin had arranged to be delivered the night before.

Standing beside the bed, he looked at Jade Guanyin, who lay with her eyes closed and pretended to sleep.

He bent down, kissed the corner of her lips, and turned to leave.

Three months later, Xiao Ma returned to Thailand and pushed open the door of the little house outside the city.

Stale air and dust rushed toward him. The house was empty, and cobwebs hung in the shadows.

He searched upstairs and downstairs before finding a note beneath the pillow in the bedroom.

My injuries have healed. Take care. Xiao Yu.

A faded lip print followed the words.

Jade Guanyin had fulfilled her promise.

From that moment onward, she disappeared from his life and never appeared again.
