JB – Extra Chapter 21: Family of Three

“You’re crushing me, and my hair isn’t even dry yet.” Wang Cheng couldn’t push him away, so he tried reasoning with him instead. Unfortunately, Chu Yifeng was not so easy to dismiss. They had not done it for a month. Although they had fooled around the previous night, their son had woken up halfway through. Wang Cheng’s attention had immediately shifted to Benben, naturally leaving Chu Yifeng neglected.

This was not the first time Chu Yifeng regretted letting Wang Cheng have a child. In the beginning, it had only been to give Wang Cheng’s family and the Chu family an explanation. Who would have thought that the moment their son was born, he would capture all of Wang Cheng’s attention? In the end, very little of it was left for him.

“Do you think I’m blind?” Chu Yifeng glanced at Wang Cheng’s hair, which was only crew-cut length. Earlier that year, Wang Cheng had decided long hair was too troublesome to maintain and had simply gotten a buzz cut.

Most people could not pull off a buzz cut, but Wang Cheng’s features were flawless. The hairstyle actually made him look even more masculine, and every time he went out, he inevitably became the center of attention.

Wang Cheng touched his head. It really was dry…

Chu Yifeng lifted his pajama top, exposing a flat stomach. The rough pads of his fingers brushed against the skin, making Wang Cheng slightly sensitive. Lowering his head, Chu Yifeng kissed his navel, then let his fingers wander to the center of his abdomen where a faint scar could still be seen. It was the scar left behind from Benben’s birth.

The fact that the once-ugly scar had faded into only a faint mark after seven or eight months was entirely thanks to Doctor Eric.

After becoming pregnant with Benben, Wang Cheng had researched childbirth online. Later, he learned that women who underwent C-sections usually ended up with an ugly scar across their stomachs. However, he had seen Yuan Xia’s stomach before and discovered that the scar was nearly invisible unless examined closely. After asking about it, he learned that Doctor Eric had specially prepared treatments for the scars left on male birth fathers as well. Wang Cheng was not particularly vain, but he did not want an ugly scar on his stomach either. Therefore, when he underwent the C-section, he specifically brought up the matter with Doctor Eric. After applying the doctor’s specially formulated ointment for several months, the scar had indeed faded rapidly.

Beneath the blanket, the two naked bodies tangled together.

“Mmh… be gentler…” Wang Cheng gripped the bedsheets tightly beneath him, trying his best not to let out louder moans. He was terrified of waking their son sleeping next door.

Ever since they had moved Benben into his own room, Wang Cheng had worried he might not hear him if something happened, so a connecting door had been installed between their bedroom and Benben’s room. The door was not soundproof.

Chu Yifeng turned his face toward him, lowered his upper body, and bit his lips. The moment Wang Cheng parted them to speak, Chu Yifeng slipped his tongue inside and captured his own, swallowing every sound he made.

Wang Cheng had known all along that Chu Yifeng would never listen to him. The moment he refused, he had already anticipated this outcome. The only way to soothe a lover who had been deprived for an entire month was to let him continue until he was satisfied.

After giving birth to Benben, Wang Cheng’s body had become even more sensitive than before. Before Chu Yifeng had even finished once, Wang Cheng had already climaxed twice.

“That’s enough…”

Burying his head against Wang Cheng’s chest, Chu Yifeng lightly ground his teeth against the skin. Hearing Wang Cheng suck in a breath, he laughed. “You think one time is enough to satisfy me? We finally have the chance to be alone together. I’m going until dawn.”

Wang Cheng’s face changed instantly. Going until dawn might as well kill him. He hurriedly grabbed Chu Yifeng’s hand. “Don’t be ridiculous. What if our son wakes up in the middle of the night?”

“He won’t. He exercised twice as much as usual today. He’ll sleep straight through until morning.” Chu Yifeng sounded completely confident.

Wang Cheng’s face darkened. So this bastard had planned everything in advance.

In the end, they did not actually continue until dawn, but it was close enough. Chu Yifeng kept him occupied until after three in the morning before finally letting him sleep. By the time the sun was high in the sky, Wang Cheng was still sleeping deeply, oblivious even to the sounds of his son calling from the next room. Only Chu Yifeng looked especially refreshed.

Bare-chested, Chu Yifeng opened the connecting door and found that his son was already awake, rolling around in his little bed. The bed was roughly one-third the size of their own and was filled with several toys so that if he woke before his parents arrived, he could entertain himself.

Seeing Big Daddy appear, Benben blinked. Usually it was Wang Cheng who came to pick him up. Chu Yifeng rarely did, and Benben seemed puzzled by the sight.

“Your Little Daddy is still sleeping. Let’s not wake him.” Chu Yifeng picked him up and, unusually enough, explained things with a smile. To avoid disturbing Wang Cheng, they left through the main bedroom door instead.

Chu Yifeng first took him to wash his face. Afterwards, he placed him on the spacious sofa in the living room and told him to behave before going to prepare a bottle of milk. By the time he returned, Benben was sprawled across the sofa, sucking on his thumb, his bright black eyes fixed on the bottle in Chu Yifeng’s hand.

As soon as the bottle was handed over, Benben eagerly latched onto the nipple and began drinking noisily.

“Daddy’s going to wash up. Sit here nicely and drink your milk. Don’t run around. When Daddy comes back, I’d better still see you here, or I’ll spank your butt. Got it?”

Benben did not answer, but from his expression Chu Yifeng could tell he understood. Satisfied, he left. Washing up would not take long. When he emerged again, his son was still sitting obediently on the sofa. He then went upstairs to change clothes. Wang Cheng was still asleep, so he deliberately avoided waking him.

After changing, Chu Yifeng ordered takeout.

Benben had just finished his milk. All 300 milliliters had disappeared into his tiny stomach. Walking over, Chu Yifeng removed the bottle and patted the little bulging belly. Clearly, Benben had inherited both of their appetites. Then he tucked the boy under one arm.

“Let’s go upstairs and get changed.”

All of Benben’s clothes were stored in the wardrobe in his room. Clothes for every season filled it from top to bottom. Most had been purchased before he was even born—not by Wang Cheng or Chu Yifeng, but by an overenthusiastic Mother Zheng and Old Master Zhou. The wardrobe was so full he could not wear everything within a year.

Chu Yifeng selected an outfit suitable for the season and removed his son’s pajamas before patiently dressing him. The pants were overalls—not stiff denim but soft fabric designed to look like denim suspenders. They would never chafe his delicate skin and were perfect for a child.

Moments later, a fresh little prince charming had emerged.

Chu Yifeng scooped him up. Benben patted his face and pointed toward the connecting door.

“Little Daddy is still sleeping.”

Chu Yifeng lowered the little hand and carried him downstairs. After setting him on the carpet, he brought out the building blocks Wang Cheng had put away two days earlier.

Wang Cheng had bought the set three days ago because Benben had grown bored with the previous one. Unlike ordinary children, who merely threw blocks around, Benben actually stacked them. He built structures like miniature buildings, then pulled out blocks from the middle. If everything collapsed, he simply rebuilt it and experimented again. He was remarkably clever.

By the time Wang Cheng finally woke up, the sun was already high overhead. The bright sunlight pouring through the window immediately told him he had overslept. Benben was definitely awake by now. Supporting his slightly sore waist, he walked out and stood at the top of the stairs, only to see his son rolling around on the carpet downstairs like a little ball while clutching his own feet. Even though he was playing alone, he looked completely delighted.

“You’re awake? Go wash up first. I’ll heat up your breakfast.” Chu Yifeng carried the takeout from that morning into the kitchen.

Hearing Big Daddy speak, Benben rolled once, flipped upright, and immediately spotted Wang Cheng. His eyes lit up at once, and he crawled toward him as fast as his hands and knees could carry him.

Wang Cheng walked downstairs and picked him up, planting a kiss on his cheek. The familiar rich scent of milk instantly revived him. “Did Benben listen to Big Daddy?”

Benben blinked and broke into cheerful giggles.

“Benben was so good, then you deserve another reward.” Wang Cheng kissed him again. Father and son cuddled for quite a while until Chu Yifeng came over to hurry them along, forcing Wang Cheng to finally set him down.

There was only one important thing on the schedule that day: taking Benben to the hospital for his vaccination. After finishing the breakfast Chu Yifeng had reheated, Wang Cheng changed clothes, and the family of three headed out together.
