HC – Chapter 48: When Warmth and Fullness Stir Desire Part I

The warm breath Ning Xuan exhaled against his hand teased at the senses, making one’s heart itch unbearably. Yet when Feng Xuanyi looked at him turning his face sideways, trying hard to meet his gaze, there was a hint of pleading, a trace of fear—not an attempt to curry favor or climb upward, but actually asking him to let go. One had to know that in this residence, countless people dreamed day and night of climbing into his bed. Even if only for fleeting pleasure, as long as they could please him, as long as he would take them in, a life of fine clothes, rich food, and boundless wealth would be within reach.

Clearly, he had already laid all of this before Ning Xuan. It wasn’t something Ning Xuan even had the right to accept or refuse—he only needed to accept it, and he could obtain an honor that countless others longed for but could never achieve. Yet he not only showed no interest, he even dared to risk offending him just to refuse. Did he truly not understand the consequences, or was he playing some coy game of refusal?

Feng Xuanyi narrowed his eyes dangerously, completely ignoring Ning Xuan’s final struggle. Using his physical advantage, he kept him firmly pinned in his arms, one hand still twisting Ning Xuan’s wrists behind his back. Lowering his head, he buried his face in Ning Xuan’s neck, breathing in his scent. Though he was only a servant doing heavy labor, there was no trace of sweat—instead, there was a faint, unique fragrance of youth. It was a scent Feng Xuanyi was familiar with, yet on Ning Xuan, it felt strangely captivating.

Lowering his head again, eyes half-lidded, he couldn’t help himself. His tongue traced along the elegant curve of Ning Xuan’s neck, moving from the shoulder up toward the ear. The hand covering Ning Xuan’s mouth withdrew, replaced by fingers gently gripping his jaw, leaving him no room to escape. His free index finger slowly brushed over Ning Xuan’s naturally flushed lips.

Startled by the action, Ning Xuan shuddered. He forcefully suppressed the urge to bite off the offending finger at his lips. Gritting his teeth, trembling, his eyes flashed with anger. “Damn it! That’s enough—if you push me too far, don’t blame me—”

“Shh.” The finger that had been stroking his lips rose to silence him. Feng Xuanyi leaned in close, interrupting Ning Xuan’s long-suppressed outburst. Warm breath spilled against his ear as he chuckled softly, like a devil luring someone into ruin. “Keep your voice down. If the other attendants come in, that wouldn’t be good.”

“If you know it’s not good, then let go!” Ning Xuan’s eyes burned with anger, teeth clenched tight. If his teeth were any sharper, he would have turned his head and bitten straight through the neck of this man—who looked refined and dignified on the outside, yet now grinned like some shameless old rogue.

Hearing this, Feng Xuanyi’s smile deepened, almost dazzling. His voice lowered, rich and smooth, deliberately letting his breath brush Ning Xuan’s sensitive ear. “When I told you to be quiet, it wasn’t for my sake—it was for yours. This kind of thing isn’t new to them. But for you, being pressed down like this for the first time… I’m just worried it might hurt your pride. If you don’t mind, then I certainly don’t—makes no difference to me.”

Ning Xuan flushed at his words. A thousand retorts spun in his head, yet what came out was completely off-track: “Who said this is my first time?”

The truth didn’t matter—the important thing was not to be looked down upon by a playboy, especially not at a moment that threatened his dignity as a man. So what if he was inexperienced? Not having done it didn’t mean he didn’t know about it. Even if he had never actively sought out such things, living in a dorm where roommates played those videos without restraint meant he had absorbed more than enough knowledge. His practical experience might be lacking, but his theoretical knowledge was certainly not.

“Oh? I wouldn’t have guessed. So young, yet already so experienced—truly, appearances can be deceiving.” Feng Xuanyi raised a brow, teasing lightly. His gaze swept over Ning Xuan again, but something unsettled stirred faintly in his chest.

“That’s right!” Ning Xuan puffed himself up, pretending confidence. There was no way he would admit that he was all theory and no practice. He lifted his chin, trying to look roguish—but judging by the way Feng Xuanyi’s eyes darkened again, it was hardly convincing.

Feng Xuanyi’s lips curled into a half-smile, his voice low and enticing. “Whether it’s true or not, words don’t prove anything.” One hand gripped Ning Xuan’s waist firmly, their bodies pressed close as he shifted slightly, his touch lingering. “You have to prove it by doing.”

Damn it! Is this ever going to end?! The overly blatant, desire-filled movement made Ning Xuan shudder. He couldn’t help but curse inwardly. Though it was already autumn, winter clothes had not yet been added, and their garments were still thin. Coupled with the other man’s obvious arousal, Ning Xuan could clearly feel the startling heat and size there, the outline distinct. Under normal circumstances, he would have unhesitatingly offered his praise—something like, “Man, you’ve developed well.” But now, it was a dangerous weapon threatening his chastity. For a moment, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

“That, um… Your Highness, Master! How about you let me go first? I’ll immediately find you the most alluring beauty or handsome man to take care of your needs—” Before he could even finish saying “okay,” Feng Xuanyi frowned slightly in displeasure and sealed those chattering lips shut, lips that could ruin the atmosphere in an instant.

Capturing the warmth of those lips, Feng Xuanyi couldn’t help but think that this mouth was far more appealing when closed than when it kept talking nonstop. At least, it tasted much sweeter.

One hand still held Ning Xuan firmly at the waist, leaving him no room to escape. The hand that had been gripping his face slowly moved downward, caressing his cheek before slipping into his collar with deliberate gentleness that allowed no resistance. Without the obstruction of cloth, his hand roamed freely over the pale, smooth chest, kneading and stroking, savoring the slick, almost addictive texture beneath his palm—like the finest silk.

Of course, Ning Xuan struggled. But under Feng Xuanyi’s warning gaze and the punishing pressure at his lips, he didn’t dare make a sound. The undeniable presence pressing against him below was a constant threat, moving slowly even through the fabric. The sensation made Ning Xuan tremble, his dark eyes misted with moisture—whether from discomfort, humiliation, or something harder to suppress. He stared at the handsome face so close to his own, his mind racing for any possible way to escape, while also watching carefully in case Feng Xuanyi lost all restraint, so he could fight back in one final desperate attempt if needed.

“Mmn—” The burning heat of the hand roaming his chest made Ning Xuan shiver uncontrollably. Earlier, there had at least been a layer of clothing between them—but now, this crossed a real boundary. The unfamiliar, tingling sensation forced a sound from him that he couldn’t suppress.
