The boy touched the girl’s forehead and asked with concern, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”
The girl shoved the boy’s hand away and roared, “Don’t touch me!”
The boy’s expression immediately changed, and he asked anxiously, “What’s wrong with you? Did I do something wrong?”
The girl tossed her head and said very smugly, “Nothing’s wrong with you. I just don’t like you anymore. I’ve fallen for someone else, so stay away from me from now on. I can’t stand the sight of you, understand?”
As she spoke, the girl even poked the boy’s shoulder with her finger, her expression full of roguish arrogance, completely different from her usual self.
When the boy saw the girl’s wicked smile, realization instantly dawned on him. Unable to hold back his laughter, he pinched the girl’s cheek and said, “You’re teasing me, aren’t you, you little bad thing?”
“Move your pig trotters away. Who has the free time to tease you? The person I’ve taken a liking to is a thousand times better than you.” The girl snorted, her eyes full of disdain.
“Who?” The boy still seemed not to believe it. His eyes narrowed as he looked at the girl with great interest.
“Chen Youzai!”
Two seconds later, a burst of wild laughter rang out from the parking lot. The boy truly could not control his emotions, laughing so hard in front of his lover that he bent forward and backward.
“Hahaha… If you’re going to lie to me, can you at least pick someone convincing? Someone like Chen Youzai—besides blind people and livestock, who else could possibly like him? Hahaha…”
A flurry of fists came smashing toward the boy, but the boy clearly took this as flirting. With a little force, he pulled the girl into his arms and kissed her on the mouth.
The girl stopped struggling and seemed to turn completely to stone. Her mouth, opened wide in shock, gave the boy the chance to drive straight in. When their tongues tangled together, Chen Youzai abruptly came back to his senses.
The body belonged to someone else, but the sensation was his own. His first kiss had been taken by a boy, and by his own love rival at that. Apart from utter humiliation and disgust, he could not think of any other words.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh…” The girl pushed the boy away and shouted more than ten times in a row, her expression extremely desperate and tragic, the fury in her eyes reaching its peak.
Taking out the coin, Chen Youzai’s vision blurred for a moment, and the girl obediently stood before him. She was utterly different from the way she had looked at him sideways just now, making Chen Youzai both love and hate her.
The girl felt as if she had zoned out. When she came back to herself, what she met was the boy’s lecherous expression.
“What’s wrong?” The girl waved her fingers and looked worriedly at the person she liked.
“Nothing!” A wicked smile appeared at the corners of the boy’s mouth. Then he said, “I just want to hug you!”
The girl blushed as soon as she heard this, neither agreeing nor refusing. Seeing that she did not reject him, the boy immediately said nothing more and very roughly pulled her into his arms. A few seconds later, however, the boy completely lost the momentum he had just had. His entire person became incomparably nervous, his expression helpless, and his heart nearly leapt out through his throat.
“Um… um…” The boy spoke incoherently, his hands shaking fiercely, beads of sweat even seeping from his forehead.
“I really like you, Li Linfan.”
Hearing that familiar name, the boy was suddenly startled. The excitement and joy he had just felt, unlike anything he had ever experienced before, now changed completely. As if someone had poured a basin of cold water over him, the sweat on the boy’s forehead slowly cooled.
